I’ve spent my whole life on the Jersey Shore, and Asbury Park has always held a special place in my heart. This neighborhood captures everything I love about coastal living: the rhythm of the ocean, the energy of a thriving music and arts scene, and a tight-knit community that welcomes everyone.
I surf here year-round, so being just a few blocks from the beach means I can catch an early swell in winter or a glassy summer evening wave without a long drive. The same streets that lead me to the ocean also lead to amazing live music venues, cozy coffee shops, and restaurants where the staff greet you by name.
What makes it even better is the mix of history and creativity—Victorian homes, colorful murals, and a boardwalk that feels alive day and night. It’s a place where artists, surfers, and families all cross paths, and there’s always something happening just around the corner.
I chose this neighborhood because it represents the best of Asbury Park: the sea, the sound of live music, and a genuine sense of community. I love sharing that with guests so they can experience the beauty, warmth, and local flavor that drew me here in the first place.
