About this property
No Place Like a Home Away From Home
Comfy three bedroom home, with private bedrooms. Not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, but still minutes away from everything. Wonderful for weekend or extended stays. New Orleans is a Louisiana city on the Mississippi River, near the Gulf of Mexico. Nicknamed the "Big Easy," it's known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene and spicy, singular cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures. Embodying its festive spirit is Mardi Gras, the late-winter carnival famed for raucous costumed parades and street parties.

Cute house, the carmel folger kureg coffee was super great, not too far from Bourbon st. The stepstool in the kitchen was a nice touch.

We stayed here with a total of 6 people and it was perfect for all of us! Very clean, smelled good, and felt bigger than the pictures inside. I rated 4 stars because the area itself didn't feel very safe/was slightly sketchy. Had quite a few people warn us to be careful in the area while walking to the bus stop which made us weary.

The house was ok. I missed a washer, dryer and dishwasher, but that was my own fault for not checking the amenities carefully. It was generally well maintained but not as clean as it could be. Little things got overlooked, like hair in the shower and a half eaten tub of ranch dressing stuck between the mattress and box spring of one of the beds. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but we never had any problems. The back door neighbor was a bit weird, asking my son-in-law to drive her to the SS office. But overall, it was well equipped and served our needs. The owner was responsive when we called for help opening the lock box. Might stay there again if we ever go back to NOLA.
My family and I enjoyed the house immensely. It was comfy, clean, had nice extras and touches. Denita was a great host and quick in communication. Would definitely stay again.
The house was well kept and clean. The host left supplies needed during our stay. It was a quiet area and overall pleasant experience! We will definitely book again.
The manager was so helpful and quick to address any question. The home smelt amazing when we arrived. And everything was so close by to our location. This was a great stay.
This place was decorated so well and smelled divine. It was only 8 minutes from Saenger Theater, which was where we going to see a show. However, the neighborhood wasn’t the best. Kitchen essentials were provided, including a Keurig with k-pods. The property manager was very responsive.
Everything was great. Property manager was very helpful and communicated well. Perfect location. Only issue was construction but other than that everything was perfect
We had an amazing time. The home was awesome with plenty of AC. Things were clean. And I was thankful for the little birthday sign and flowers that I was greeted with. Plenty of supplies. PlentyPlentyofsupplies and
We enjoyed the stay in New Orleans. We were there for the Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon and we were very close to the location of the run and just minutes from downtown New Orleans. The house was decorated very nicely and plenty of room to stretch out. The host was very nice and even left us some goodies for the stay. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe in the home.
The area of the house seemed like a bad area. Did not have issues. The house was really dated. Overall we had a nice time.

Overall, it worked out for our needs. It was clean and had the accommodations that were listed in the profile. A few improvements and repairs to the house could make for a better experience (specifically the shower in the common bath). Otherwise, it was ok. The neighborhood was quiet, and we had a few Lyft drivers express concerns about safety. We had no issues though.

Adequate but Disappointing
Three former military friends spent 3 nights here. The neighborhood is abit sketchy. The home has obviously been upgraded but there are many things that are substandard. Doors that will not close, chairs that need replacing, table that wobbles, remote controls that don’t work, no local tv channels, noisy ac units, etc.
Good spot, away from crazy crowds..no issues with Ubers or door dash finding us. No washer and dryer - just be aware…we didn’t realize, that’s on us. FYI- you have to walk through one bedroom to get through the other. Needs bedside tables - not one room in the house has them. Stocked with coffee, kitchen stuff and plenty of towels for everyone. AC in living room never cooled, room units were ice cold. No problem with parking right in front of house. Felt safe. Would recommend
We had a great time in NOLA, at Jazz Fest, and we're very comfy in this rental.
With 5 adults, we needed enough space to not be in each others way all time, was walking distance to the festival, and a good price point. This property worked out perfectly, I think.
Neighborhood was completely safe, quiet, and within walking to both the festival and French Quarter. (30ish minutes) Ride shares were a great option too with helpful and friendly drivers.
No major stores around so we had some groceries delivered. No biggie to us.
Communication with the host was excellent, too! Denita is wonderful.
Kitchen came with everything we needed. Bathrooms were well stocked with great water pressure. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Even some extras in the closet for the pull-out sofa which was a pleasant surprise. WiFi worked great.
The house could use some additional side tables, small dressers, or flat surfaces in the bedrooms and/or dining room. The living room could do with an additional chair. But again, minor things that didn't bother us since we were out for several hours every day.
All in all, this was a great choice for anyone visiting NOLA. Very comfy home away from home.
