This sanctuary cottage is located in downtown on Mt Shasta Boulevard close to restaurants, grocery, and shops. The large fenced lot is the largest downtown with fruit trees and views of the mountains.

Family friendly with board games, foosball, bumper, pool, tree, swing, climbing dome, and lots of space to run. Perfect for families, spiritual seekers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Only 2 mi to the lake and 12 mi to the ski park. Gigi's is a short walk for an Italian brunch of frittata and espresso.

Great place/location

Great house with plenty of gathering spots inside and out. Easily walkable to any place downtown and a quick drive to the lake, parks, golf, etc.

Great location in the heart of Mt Shasta. Nice layout, good kitchen, three smallish bedrooms and a bunk room. We had fun playing bumper pool.

Beautiful cottage

This is our third stay at the cottage. We love the house and the location. This year we had the special treat of ripe cherries on the trees. This is a great place for family and dogs. The beds are very comfortable. The yard is great for kids and dogs. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals. And the deck is a delight for early morning andlate evening gatherings.

Great stay

The location of the house is in a great location. It is walking distance to every restaurant and store in town. The wide open kitchen and living room area is great for large families. The dining room was great for playing games and cards. We all had a great time and I really enjoyed my stay here.

Very nice property, well laid out and very clean. Owners responded is great time when we reported ants. Beds were comfy great parking and very private. Will highly recommend this place.

Perfect place for everyine

The house was perfect for our family. Looks small from the outside but inside there is plenty of room. Lots of games for all ages and space for people to have alone time if needed. Great sitting area in the back and on the porch. A few screens were missing so the upstairs was pretty warm at night. Great location to restaurants and shops. We walked almost everywhere

Great house! We were there for a small family gathering and enjoyed hanging out on the porch and making meals in the well appointed kitchen. Beds are super comfortable. Close to lots of hiking options and heat swimming in Lake Sisliyou.

Our third year staying at this property for a small summer family gathering, Property, location, and grounds excellent once again. Don't forget to check out the super cute market across the street and Shastice Park. Sunsets on the deck are awesome. We'll be back!

Great Location

It was a good spot for our 2 grandsons, especially the bumper pool and outdoor swing. My husband and I loved sitting in the backyard in the evening - lawn furniture was nice. It had everything we needed for us, the grandparents and also the parents and kids. Unfortunately the foozball game was not working right but that was the only problem. Beds were comfortable but living room couches were all very low and soft and not that comfortable. We walked the 3 blocks to town every evening for frozen yogurt. Loved it. The kids want to come back next year.

The Perfect Location and Property for our Family

The property suited our family gathering nicely. The board games were a hit and I imagine even more so if we had littles with us. The home had a lovely cross breeze in the mornings and evenings when we were there. The owner was a gem and responded almost immediately with the answer to my questions before the trip and during...even my dumb one. Walking distance to downtown. Plenty of space outside to gather. Country Living

Loved the expansive yard with trees and birdsong. I wanted to do some weeding in the flower beds to give them some TLC. Very comfortable in the house with all the amenities we needed. Great house, very responsive host

We had a great time at this house, which was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked. The owner was very responsive, answering all our questions within a few hours. The only issue we had is that the house is located on a main road. The location had its pluses, including a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. At the same time, even though there wasn't a lot of traffic, the passing cars were still noisy and prevented us from sleeping with open windows at night. Still, this was a minor issue. Overall we were very happy with the house and highly recommend it.

awesome spot and cutest house

We had a fabulous time in Shasta and this rental really contributed to that. It turned out to be a 4 minute walk to our retreat center. It is a short walk downtown to the local restaurants and shops. I wish there'd have been one more bathroom, but we made it work. The yard space is an extra bonus to sit outside and get some fresh air. The owners were very good about getting back to us. I'd stay again, for sure!

A gem in Shasta

The pictures do not do this fantastic home justice by any stretch . Simply a gem of a home right on the edge of downtown. Centrally located to everything that is Shasta . Walk downtown , walk to coffee shop , hike up the street to awesome trailheads and essentially 15 to 20 mins to everything outdoors ,...skiing , fishing all that is good in Shasta . House is super spacious, yet super cozy . Well appointed , beautiful interior , awesome basement , big tv and incredible wood stove with tons of wood . Simply awesome , great stay , family loved it , cant say enough good things .

Mt Shasta is so special with the mountain, seasons, and incredible views. Many things to do here are off the beaten path and yet to be discovered. Lots do her for families, outdoor enthusiasts and spiritual seekers and most of it is free.
