The bungalow was perfect for our 3-night anniversary weekend. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and Beaufort waterfront and easy drive to Harkers Island, Morehead City and the NC Aquarium in Pine Knolls Shore. It was clean and just perfect. Dave and Clare are excellent hosts. We would definitely stay again.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We hope you can comoe again in the future. We really enjoyed meeting you!
The Bungalow is a lovely and clean space that was perfect for a weekend stay. It has character and charm and sits conveniently in the heart of Beaufort. Our four family members utilized the kitchenette for breakfast and for packing lunches and slept comfortably; this rental is a much better alternative to a hotel. The owners were prompt, informative, and kind in their communications. We hope to stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at this quaint little bungalow. The hosts were super friendly, and so kind! Kids loved the loft and the garden. Super close to downtown, and just a lovely place to stay if visiting Beaufort! Will return (:
The Beaufort Bungalow was perfect. My wife and young daughter stayed for 2 nights and its location allowed us to easily explore Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle. The cottage itself is so cozy in a beautiful setting very close to the downtown Beaufort waterfront. My daughter loved the loft area. Would definitely stay here again. Had an opportunity to meet both Dave and Clara and both were super nice and helpful.
Good size bungalow with beautiful yard for use. Kitchenette too small for full meal use, but we got by... Property close enough to downtown. Look forward to staying here again.

Thanks, Matt. We hope to see you again in the future. We enjoyed meeting you.
The Bungalow was in a perfect spot in Beaufort. Easy to get to shops and restaurants. We parked our vehicle (plenty of off street parking), and rode our bikes everywhere. Shops and restaurants were great. The hosts, Dave and Clara were super helpful with recommendations. We took a ferry to Shackleford island and collected lots of beautiful conch and other shells, saw several wild ponies and had a super dolphin siting from the ferry. The Bungalow was super cute, very clean and fully equipped. The yard was beautiful with fountains and gardens everywhere. Very quiet.I would highly recommend this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful bungalow. Lovely inside and out!

Why they chose this property
Clara was born and raised here and provides a unique perspective on how life was here when she was a child. Her Grandfather and father were in the Coast Guard, and her Grandfather was a lighthouse keeper at the Cape Lookout lighthouse in the early 1900s.
She and Dave love to meet our guests and answer questions about the area and our hometown. We especially love to meet children and help them explore the gardens and fish pond.
