This cottage is everything it was advertised to be and more. The special touches that the owner adds were very much appreciated and made us feel very welcome. We love Beaufort and it was so fun to stay right in the middle of the history and beauty of the area. We will definitely recommend this property to others! Thank you Stacie
We really needed a break. Beaufort, NC is the town and this cottage is the place. The hosts are great and the cottage is hidden from the world in the hosts backyard. Nestled in their garden is this gem. Everything you cloud want has been anticipated. The location is central to all of Beaufort. We would definitely stay again.
We had an amazing time while in Beaufort at the cottage which was close to downtown and the ferry's for the beach. Easy location for traveling to other activities in the the area as well including aquarium, fort and Cape Lookout.
Lovely cottage for a cozy, quiet stay. Conveniently located, great place to sit in the garden or relax inside. Close to historic sites and Beaufort’s waterfront.

About the host
Hosted by Stacie
My husband and I moved to Beaufort after 30 plus years living in the Hamptons. We were looking for a slower pace of life and fell in love with the area. We bought our historic home with guest cottage as well as several other pieces of property in the area. We love our 2 dogs and rescue cats and enjoy leisurely strolls up to Front Street to catch glimpses of the wild horses grazing and the dolphin frolicking in the water.
Why they chose this property
We love our neighborhood and the quiet, friendly neighbors. Porch life is a southern tradition which we have fallen in love with! The large, fenced in back yard is perfect for our pets and has been fun to landscape with shade and sun loving plants. Our raised vegie gardens are a new addition and we encourage guests to help themselves to fresh basil, parsley and our tomatoes when ripe.
What makes this property unique
We are 1.5 blocks from the water! To the left is a community dock with easy access to the water. To the right is the bustle of Front Street shops and restaurants. If you are lucky, wild horses will be grazing early mornings or just before dark... often pods of dolphin swim along the shoreline as well.
