Welcome to The Dream Getaway.

Welcome to our oceanfront/beachfront home located at 1834A S Shore Dr, Surf City, NC 28445.

This newest edition is a three story single family oceanfront private escape. The views are SPECTACULAR. We offer 3 levels of private oceanfront decking, two outdoor showers and an oceanfront outdoor entertaining area with a charcoal grill and also includes a new 6.75’ x 6.75’ Nordic Hot Tub that seats 7.

Our location is IDEAL in Surf City on Topsail Island. We are on a quiet stretch of the beach surrounded by other homes but are still only 2 miles south of the pier and all of the shops and restaurants.

We have installed new LVP flooring ( No CARPET in this HOME) and purchased new smart TVs - one for every bedroom and one in the living room.

The home interior has been freshly painted and has new decor, new linens, new mattresses, new furniture, new sheets and towels and completely refreshed amenities.
The oceanfront balcony offers captains chairs so you can see over the railings for unobstructed ocean views.

The driveway can accommodate at least 5 cars.

We provide 10 brand new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys.
We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and pantry items, keurig and K-cups,hand soap, hair dryer in every bathroom / shampoo/conditioner, body wash and toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.

We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case by case basis and a $100 refundable pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the beds. We are sorry but we do not allow cats.

Two comfortable portable beds with memory mattresses are available to sleep two extra people. We have determined these are much more comfortable and more flexible than a sleeper sofa as they can be used in any room in the home - even outside for the adventurous type.

We do not offer discounts of any kind. We offer an extremely high level of service, flexibility and a ton of amenities not found in most beach rentals.

This was our second year staying in this house, because we loved it so much last time. This year was even better. We spent an entire week here enjoying the beautiful views from the living room and the decks. The house has everything ne needed, including a very well equipped kitchen, bathroom supplies, and even spices and coffee pods as well as a drip coffee maker. A big bonus for us is that dogs are welcome in this home, which made our beach vacation even more enjoyable. The host and the housekeeper are very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property.

The things that stood out- the house was very clean, organized, well stocked with everything like towels, utensils, laundry soap, toilet paper, and not the cheap toilet paper very good toilet paper. Everything at the house was great, the only thing I wish the house had, it would be a table cloth or table mats. The access to the beach was easy. The house was beautiful with 2 decks to admire the ocean. Big windows to see the ocean from the living room and dining room. Big kitchen with enough plates for inside and outside. The doors to close the two decks were perfect to keep the dog inside. We enjoyed the hot tub. Overall a wonderful experience. I definitely come back.

Wonderful Beachhouse on Topsail Island

We had the best time in this beach house. The host couldn't have been more accommodating. The house had everything we needed, including chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, board games, a well-equipped kitchen -- everything! The bedrooms were perfect, beds were comfortable, and the location was best of all -- right on the beach. It was an ideal stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Our family doesn’t get to be altogether very much during the year, and getting to spend time with each other in this home is the highlight of our year. Our DREAM was to own oceanfront property! We are so pleased to be able to share the DREAM with you!

In September of 2018 my husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a long weekend getaway to Surf City. We have 2 dogs and one had just completed his last rounds of chemo treatments so we were only willing to go somewhere that we could take our dogs with us. We had not been on vacation in 6 years because of our dogs special needs.
After spending 4 days on the beach we decided we needed a beach house. Both my husband and dog were at home and relaxed at the beach. 2 Months later we purchased Dream Getaway.

Why they chose this property

Why Surf City NC when we live in Maryland?
Surf City is the beach of my childhood. I spent my summers visiting my family in Hampstead NC (10 minutes away) and my days were spent playing on the beach under the pier with my siblings and cousins.
My Great Grandfather ran shrimp and oyster boats in the sound for a living. If you visit our home you will notice the oyster shells and pictures around the house. These all remind me of why we own this home.

We love this SPACIOUS single family oceanfront home! This part of the beach is so peaceful and the views are out of this world. The oceanfront hot tub is truly a dream come true!

We provided linens, towels, beach chairs and a fully stocked kitchen and pantry.
In addition to our home which is enough we also provide the ability to provide additional services via our Hospitality Manager, who is a text message away.
