Our remodeled lake cottage sits on a quiet cove that overlooks beautiful Lake Hamilton. The WindWalker greets you with relaxing vibes and a serene decor of blues and grays. Sitting out on the deck at night surrounding the fire pit and looking out over all of the lights on the lake is mesmerizing. The cottage is in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet it is just minutes from the shopping, dining, and tourist attractions that Hot Springs, Arkansas has to offer.

Wind Walker lake Hamilton

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was furnished with every amenity you could possibly need, and was very clean and comfortable. My kids and I really enjoyed taking the kayaks and paddle boards out on the lake! I also appreciated the communication and instructions of the host. Nothing was left in question and was very easy to navigate.

Beautifully Decorated Home

My wife and I enjoyed the Windwalker as it was very clean and beautifully decorated. We will stay here again the next time we are in Hot Springs.

WindWalker Cottage

We always enjoy our stay at the Windwalker. The house is beautiful clean and well stocked. We like being able to tie up our boat in the lake on the dock. Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs has good fishing water sports and always a wonderful Sunrise and Sunset.

This cottage did not disappoint. I wondered if it would be as nice as the pictures and it was. It had everything you could think of and we really enjoyed our stay. Lisa was a great host and communicated well with us.

It was a little confusing to find but i believe that was more due to the gps. But the property was beautiful! We had so much fun here, relaxing on and by the lake. Mrs. Lisa stocks her property with everything you could need! We were thoroughly impressed! Will definitely be returning!

Very clean cozy get away. Lisa - Host adds a special touch in having all the little things you might forget when packing ( toothbrush, bandaids ). She has folders setup by local restaurants with menu of each to help plan your days. Enjoyed just sitting on the patio and taking in the views in this cozy cove. Would recommend to friends and family.

Lisa’s vacation rental is clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you probably forgot at home. She’s extremely responsive and answered any questions we had. Great house for our short family trip to Hot Springs, and our boys loved using the kayaks.

Absolutely a gorgeous place to stay. I could have just stayed & lives there!! The owner is so thoughtful & has the house supplied with so many things that you may need!!! Would definitely stay there again & will recommend to all friends. Also it’s not too far from the historic downtown😊

We had a baby, momma and daddy getaway and this place was more than perfect. Impeccably clean, had everything you can possible need and more. Nicest host ever, even shipped us some things we left behind. The house is super recommended, you will definitely enjoy your stay!!! So comfortable and cozy and spotless!!!

The Cozy Cottage

The WindWalker is an Excellent place for a perfect getaway. The house is well stocked, so very clean, beds are very comfortable. Entire house is just perfect. Lisa is also the perfect hostess. If ever back in the area, we will hope the WindWalker is available.

Hello! We are Lisa and Robby Walker. We have lived in Hot Springs, AR and enjoyed Lake Hamilton for the past 30 years. As natives of coastal North Carolina, we are a couple that loves the water, sun, and cool breezes. Thus, it only made sense to name our renovated lake cottage The WindWalker!
We have taken much pride in creating a relaxing temporary home for you to enjoy. Hot Springs has so much to offer. You can play ALL DAY or simply relax on the deck and enjoy the cool breezes, a good book, and a refreshing drink.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Unfortunately, there is always SOMEONE who disrespects house rules and makes it difficult for others. And yes, we too have met them at The WindWalker...

Please know that The WindWalker is PERFECT for 1 - 2 couples or a small family of 4. The MAXIMUM number of guests is 4. An additional charge of $100 PER person/PER night has been implemented to discourage bringing in additional guests without permission.

Likewise, some people purposefully seek out PET-FREE homes. This IS a pet free home.
An additional cleaning charge of $250 will be collected if proof is found that you allowed pets in against the house rules.

We work hard to provide the cleanest SMOKE-FREE home for your vacation. In most cases, the owner cleans and/or does the final walkthrough inspection before guests arrive. Thank you in advance for respecting these 3 very important house rules.

LAKE UPDATE:

Beginning Nov. 1 annually, Entergy uses varying drawdowns on Lake Hamilton. The purpose of the drawdown is to control the spread of certain underwater plants that interfere with recreation. Because the depth of the water in our cove is only 5 feet deep, the cove is either very shallow [or dry] from November to March. You can, however, still enjoy the sights and lights on the lake's main channel from the covered deck.

We always look forward to March 1 when the normal water levels resume!

BOATING OPTIONS: We are now able to provide 3 single-person sit-in kayaks, 1 tandem (2-person) sit-on kayak, 1 Standup Paddleboard (SUP), USCG approved life jackets, emergency whistles, and waterproof mobile phone cases through a nominally priced "rental program." The flat-fee charge is $50 for 1-2-night rentals, $65 for 3 nights or $80 for a 4 (or more) night rental. This fee covers the unlimited use of the "full flotilla" for the duration of your stay. All guests MUST also sign a liability waiver.

The rental and use of the kayaks are TOTALLY OPTIONAL and you will not be charged unless you specifically request the use them.

Party Barge rentals are prevalent on Lake Hamilton. Contact me for pricing/location information.

You are welcome to bring your own boat on a trailer. A public launching dock is only about a mile away. You may park your trailer in the driveway or up by the curb in the front. There is an uncovered dock in our very quiet cove that you may tie up to during your stay.

There are NO jet ski rentals allowed on Lake Hamilton. You may ride jet skis if you bring them and launch them yourself, however.

As always with all water sports---swim and boat with caution!

The WindWalker is centrally located - such an easy and fast trip to all of the tourist sites that Hot Springs has to offer.
