Sawtooth Hawk beach is a duplex located on Lake Placid, the best lake to go fishing, jet skis, tubing or just take an afternoon cruise around the lake and soak up the Florida Sun. Can rent one side or the whole house depending on your needs. Each side is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, the master bedrooms have an exceptional view of the lake, just a few yards from the boat ramp. Golf course nearby, either coast is just a little over an hour away, Orlando is 2 hours away and Lego Land just under an hour away. Definitely can help out with boat or jet ski rentals, just ask.

Great property, clean and convenient location with great lake views! Only complaint was there was no coffee machine. There were coffee filters but no machine.

Tranquil lakeside home with dock and views

Property was very clean and well appointed with two bedrooms downstairs and master suite above. Beautiful view of lake just 50 yards away. Sandy beach with firepit was great at night, bring your own wood. Kitchen was well stocked with good quality pots, pans, utensils. Chris the owner was very responsive answering questions. I would highly recommend this tranquil place.

Very Nice Home

This property appears to have been is nicely decorated, comfortable and has all the amenities you might need. The porches looking out on the lake were our favorite relaxation spot. While we did not take advantage of fishing, this would be a great spot for any angler with lake access just up the canal. We saw many folks heading out during the day to fish. If you want a quiet, remote and comfortable spot, this is definitely it. Many thanks to our hosts Chris for sharing your beautiful property.

Great for larger groups

Overall we loved our stay here. Great Lake and beautiful view. We rented both sides of the duplex with family so it worked out great to have 2 large tables on the patio and lots of space. Unfortunately most of the lounge chairs were broken so that was a bummer. Also the listing says it sleeps 8 but that includes 2 sleeping on an air mattress and there was no air mattress to be found so 2 people had to sleep on the couches. The listing also includes a gas grill on the patio but when we got ready to use it there’s a note that says propane not included. We just wish we would have known ahead of time because we ended up cooking steaks in the oven.

Great location, 2 houses from public boat ramp!

This property was clean and tons of fun, my family had a great time. The boat ramp is super close and easy to access. The new dock was a great add on to the property.

Lake Placid last minute family get away

We decided on Tuesday evening to go to Lake Placid for Friday to Monday. We were able to book the property and talk to the property manager that evening. The manager answered all questions and addressed any concerns we might have. The house was fantastic. The lake was beautiful. Weather was perfect and we had an awesome little getaway. Chris the property manager was completely professional and accommodating. He stopped by to introduce himself and say hi. We will definitely book another trip here. Big thanks to Chris and VRBO.

Fun property

This was a great little place to stay for a lake getaway. It’s a duplex and it would have been a little odd to have the other unit occupied seeing as it shares a porch. We got lucky that it was vacant so we had the patio to ourselves. Has a great beach and lake access. Would recommend booking both sides with other vacationers in your party. That would be ideal. Price was great. Unit was clean and smelled fresh. We had a great time.
