A great private Upstate getaway

This property is a beautiful getaway to upstate NY. The cabin is quiet and serene, offering lots of privacy. The woods surrounding the cabin are gorgeous, and the backyard was perfect for our dogs!

Our week in the woods

Minetta's cabin was sensational in every way. Tucked in the middle of the woods and ultra quiet. A lot of thought went into the decor of the cabin with beautiful artwork throughout. Extremely comfortable, clean and functional with every amenity one could ask for. Stone Ridge is a lovely little town just minutes away as is Rosendale just a little further out. We had a terrific time and hope to return.

The cabin was really beautiful and well organized. So many needs were anticipated. It was very clean, very quiet, and comfortable. My family and I had a very nice time celebrating my brother’s birthday. The guide book was helpful and we checked out a local farm and got dinner from a nearby restaurant. We would’ve liked to barbecue but the gas tank was empty but there were pots and pans to cook inside. The only suggestion is for a throw blanket or two.

This was one of our best VRBO stays. The cabin is beautifully located and the decor is stunning. It is also wonderfully equipped with everything you need - in the kitchen, patio, etc. While every space in the cabin is uniquely charming, it was also very comfortable - from bathrooms to bedrooms to living room. Since the weather was good during our stay, we practically lived on the fabulous screened in porch! Our host was always responsive - although we really didn't have reason to contact her since instructions/information were clear and thorough. Since the Hudson area is very expensive especially in the summer, we thought the cabin was extremely good value as well, given how well-equipped and beautiful it was. We hope to return.

A+ for comfort and style

This beautiful cabin in the woods blends warm and cozy with unique and interesting just enough to make sure you remember you are on vacation. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner has done a great job labeling swiches, etc. so that you can settle in right away. She warns about the need to adjust the water temperature because the hot water is very hot. Heed the warning. You will find everything you need is accessible in this home. We will be returning.

Cozy cabin for the holidays

We booked this place for the week of Thanksgiving as my sister lives down the street in Stone Ridge and we were so pleased. The place looks exactly the same as displayed online... so well decorated, cozy and close to town. We have a 15 month old daughter so it was really nice having the bedroom and loft upstairs. We were able to put her to sleep early upstairs and enjoy dinner, wine and games by the fireplace downstairs. We didn’t get to use the outdoor fire pit because it was just too cold, but look forward to using it on future stays! The owners were very responsive and accommodating which is always nice! Overall this house was perfect for a little getaway and I highly reccomend it!

Quiet getaway for late summer

My partner and I had a lovely stay in Minetta's cabin. Beautifully decorated and has room for a couple or small family to spread out. Meals on the enclosed porch were nice, and my partner enjoyed the firepit. If you are a plus-sized person like myself, the upstairs bathroom stall is a bit narrow, but you can use the shower on the first floor. Minetta stocks basic needs in the cabin (spices, oil, coffee). Though there is a local grocery store. I would suggest hitting up a Walmart/Target on your way up. There is also a book in the cabin with local restaurant menus and activities to help you plan things to do. We visited the nearby Hasbrouck House for the Phonecia Flea Market and Cocktail Club offerings, followed by a great lunch at The Roost. I recommend the fried chicken and freshly made tater tots!

The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4 and the decor was beautiful. We relaxed on the back porch and read books on the cozy sofas. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. This was the relaxing break we needed for a quick getaway. I highly recommend and will stay again!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a great stay here for the weekend. This beautiful cabin is so close to amazing hiking in Minnewaska State Park, great local restaurants and down town New Paltz. We would absolutely go back!

Amazing cabin (indoor and outdoor)

Lovely three day summer getaway at the cabin- it has everything you need! We cooked, bbq’d on the grill and had s’mores at the fire pit. Comfy beds and couches, clean linens and board games! We took the hosts recommendations for a few restaurants in town and they were perfect. Also did a few hikes around the reservoir- so beautiful. We will be staying again during another season!
