We had a nice stay in Genoa. The apartment is in the center of the old districts, close to all attractions, food and shopping. At night, it gets pretty hot and a bit loud, from the restaurants below. But this is to be expected staying in the core of the city. Paola was great throughout, communicating regularly.

Amazing

The location was absolutely the best! The apartment was so charming with the bricks and shutters, etc. I didn't end up cooking since we were so close to so many amazing restaurants that there was no need. The apartment wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues but we loved it. The restaurant next door can be loud if you have the windows open but they don't stay open too late. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of things!

Atypique et bien placé avec quelques inconvénients

Bien placé au centre du vieux Gênes Petit appartement atypique. Parking possible à 700 mètres. Sans climatisation, ni courant d'air possible et donc interieur trop chaud quand forte chaleur exterieure et meme avec les ventilateurs. Le restaurant dans le jardin devant l'appartement est bruyant avec la fenetre ouverte. La vaisselle est en grande partie tres usée et devrait etre replacée ainsi que le micro-onde. La douche est minuscule et impossible a utiliser pour une personne trop forte.

Stilvolles Appartement in der Altstadt von Genua

Perfekte Lage: mitten in der Altstadt, nah am Hafen, an einem kleinen Platz, so dass die Wohnung trotz der engen Gassen Licht bekommt. Sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet: diehistorischen Details der Wohnung sind toll herausgearbeitet, der Platz ist perfekt ausgenutzt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, und insbesondere die Kinder fanden die Emporen zum Schlafen toll. Verbesserungsvorschläge Spühlmaschine entfernen (funktioniert schlecht, wir mussten mit Hand spühlen, und vom Vorgänger war das Geschirr nicht sauber) und neue Töpfe kaufen.

Super-Aufenthalt

Paola ist eine sehr zuvorkommende, hilfsbereite, liebenswürdige Gastgeberin mit persönlichem Einsatz für ihre Gäste: Wirkliche Gastfreundschaft! Lage der Wohnung: Ruhig, Parkmöglichkeit sehr gut, öffentl. Verkehrsanbindung sehr gut obwohl die Wohnung so zentral ist dass man überall zu Fuss laufen kann! Alles war bestens: Gastgeberin, Lage, Verläßlichkeit, ... Leider hatten wir wenig Zeit uns auszutauschen. Kann ich gerne weiterempfehlen.

Spitze Unterkunft!!

Der Kontakt mit Paola war supernett, extrem entspannte und hilfreiche Gastgeberin; Und auch während unseres Aufenthalts war sie unkompliziert, kommunikativ und sehr bemüht. Der Knaller der Gastfreundschaft waren zwei Flaschen Prosecco, die sie uns als Willkommensgeschenk in den Kühlschrank gestellt hatte - top Service, danke nochmal! Die Wohnung liegt superzentral, ist geräumig und sauber. Toll ist, dass Paola Handtücher und Bettwäsche bereitstellt und sogar eine Nespressomaschine in der Küche steht, klasse. Für unseren Kurztrip eine top Unterkunft und Paola ist eine Airbnblerin wie man die sich wünscht.

Super stay in the heart of Genoa

The loft is comfortable and spacious has so many things that make a longer stay easy. There's even a dishwasher,washing machine and iron. Paola was so helpful and gave us plenty of information on the local area. Some difficulty connecting to WIFi, due to reading password incorrectly. Paola was able to call in and sort us out very quickly. Her suggestions for a stay in the La Spezia/Cinque Terre area completed a great fortnight in Liguria. There are ladder steps up to the sleeping areas , but the excellent lighting allows easy access if its dark. Although there is a restaurant below the Loft, it is not noisy. The super position in the old town is convenient for restaurants, real beer within 50m at Beer and Bagel, and local food shops. Italian schools start back second week of September so there are a lot of changes to public transport timetables, for example train to Casella stops running. Remember that many museums are closed Mondays. We could have stayed for much longer than a week and still not be tired of the Loft or the city - thank you Paola
