Since we left the city and embraced country living, we have shared our peaceful Cannon Gates with family and friends.
If you are looking to disconnect from the world, detox and absorb nature, this is the right place to escape to.

Our beautiful property offers a spacious and cosy 3 bedroom apartment with one bathroom, full kitchen a sofa bed and a open concept sitting/eating area.

We have trails and gently rolling hills for you to explore.
Located no far from the city but yet, fells like you are in your own world.

Check in was easy, the owner is friendly and helpful. The space was larger than we expected and well decorated. We felt like we were at home, it is peaceful, quiet and a perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Amazing property with terrific hosts who went above and beyond!

Country Oasis

Our stay was wonderful. Lissette is just so lovely and hospitable and was so quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. The property is tranquil and exactly what we were looking for. It was a beautiful drive to caledon and a perfect place to retreat to after our daughter’s horse show.

Wonderful stay in Caledon

Lissette was a lovely and helpful hostess. Everything was clean and in order. Great location accessible to all activities in and around Caledon. The sledding on the property was great fun for the whole family. We will definitely be back!

Weekend get-away

Some friends and I stayed for the weekend at Lissette’s property - a great piece of nature not too far from the city. Lissette was incredibly accommodating and very quick to reply/help!

Staying at Cannon Gates

We had a wonderful time. Lissette was great, she really took care of us on her property. She is a great host and made our stay very relaxing. Cannon Gates is incredibly landscaped, with a pool area that rivals any European villa. After hiking around the area, a cool dip was welcome. I would highly recommend staying here. When we return, we will look to book again. A big thanks to Lissette for everything.

Cannon Estate

Host Lissette is a very nice and accommodating lady. Very will supplied with anything kitchen and bath related. Comfortable mattresses and bedding. The property suited our needs for the time we were in the area. Could use dehumidifier/ionizer in the suite.

Pros and Cons

Pros: The peace and quiet were phenomenal and much needed. The host was kind and friendly The property was beautiful and picturesque The swimming pool was inviting and so comfortable and clean Cons: The room we slept in seemed only a wallboard away from the air-conditioning and was fairly noisy at night The ceiling in the bedroom was well below standard height Some of the shelves and window sills were dusty and cob-webbed Swiss shower as advertised was not functioning

Perfect gateway, beautiful place

Lissette and Steve are awesome owners. They make sure you have a good time and they are very responsive if you need anything. They thought of everything even the smallest thing you may need in vacation. The property is so beautiful, it’s been taken care of very well. You don’t need or want to leave it. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks Lissette and Steve for being such an amazing hosts.

We had thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cannon Gates . Beautiful house with so many thoughtful touches. The house was well equipped. Everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable.
