Great space which could happily accommodate a family. Well stocked kitchen, abundant linens. Games popcorn and other small touches are very welcoming. 5-10 minutes to town of Erin for groceries etc.
Awesome stay! The cottage has great vibes and was more than comfortable even in the heat wave we went through. Would head back for another stay anytime.
This home is well maintained and very comfortable. The little extras provided by the host are very much appreciated. Would highly recommend and hoping to return next year.
We were attending a week-long function in Brampton and wanted to be away from the city in our down time. The log house in Erin was perfect! (And if you like to cook as much as we do, note the very well appointed kitchen…)
Jodi’s cottage is the best appointed place we have stayed on VRBO and other rental sites. This was an enjoyable cottage stay with many decadent towels and bath products as well as a kitchen that had everything you might need to cook and spice your food. There were many additional add ons to make it a very cozy stop.
This cottage is very spacious and on a beautiful property. We enjoyed using the firepit for a bonfire and sitting in the screened in patio. Will stay again!
Beautiful property, thoughtful, generous and exceptionally well-equipped amenities - extremely comfortable and enjoyable space to share with family. Thanks Jodi!!
This is one of the few rentals that is actually much nicer in real life than in the photos. And the kitchen is probably the best stocked with everything you might need out of any place we’ve ever booked (high end appliances and vintage popcorn machine were a real treat). The dining chairs and living room sofas are incredibly comfy, and the TV is massive (swing in the photos has been replaced by an awesome, oversized, swivel armchair). The bathrooms were impeccably clean, full of fluffy towels, and all the Aesop products are a lovely touch. The home is on a large, beautiful property surrounded by horse farms (which is why dogs must be kept on leash). Jodi was an excellent host - very friendly, easy going, quick to respond, and flexible with checkout time. We ski at Caledon and it’s an easy 10 min drive to the club. Highly recommend!
Great property, the screened in porch area is very nice, great appliances and comfortable spaces. Lots of room, would be comfortable with 6 people for sure. Firepit area looks nice, unfortunate that we couldnt use it due to a local fire ban at the time. Would recommend for sure.
What an incredible country home and vacation experience! So private and peaceful and on the edge of a beautiful little woods. Jodi has thought of everything and it all felt quite luxurious! We had a fabulous friends reunion. No one wanted to leave!
Property was a perfect quiet location with no worldly distractions. Check in and out was smooth. Lots of little details included that you may otherwise overlook or forget at home. The four of us slept comfortably and had a great gaming table for our nerdy weekend of tabletop gaming. The host was easy to contact before and after our stay.
Great for family get together. We enjoyed our family country Christmas very much. Great communication with the host. We loved that everything was well stocked and clean. We can Highly recommend if you enjoy country charm.
This property had such character and was everything we were expecting. Very well stocked with everything you needed and lots of space for the 5 of us. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach out. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!!
Truly lovely house in beautiful, quiet, rolling countryside. Private, spacious, comfortable and amazingly well-equipped. Kudos to the generous owners who clearly know how to set up and run a memorable vacation rental. Thank you for a wonderful winter getaway. Would love to return.
The house was a great space, more spacious than we anticipated. It was great to get away from the noisy city to a quieter place surrounded by woods. The place was clean and the screened in porched was a great outdoor space.
Cabin was super cozy, clean, with lots of amenities and fully stocked kitchen. Though there was no AC, it was nice and cool inside with the windows and fans creating a cross breeze, even when it was hot out. Jodi was very responsive to questions and made us feel at home during our stay. Space felt very private and comfortable. Everything is as described and more. We loved the fire pit. The town of Erin was a short drive away and had lovely stores and places to eat. We would love to stay here again! :)
Cottage was very clean and every ammenity you would need. Lots of clean linens, towels etc. All appliances were high end. Owner even replaced TV and connected us with Netflux etc. Highly recommend.
This was hands down the best VRBO or rental I have ever booked. My husband and I had our wedding in the area and booked this for the day before and our wedding night. The interior is incredible - tall ceilings, completely stocked with and dishes/appliances we needed and the some. We were blown away by the attention to detail, and the little things that made a big difference like plush fresh towels, and wonderful smelling soaps. We would 100% stay here again!

Absolutely stunning property and exceptionally clean. There was only very luke warm water so showering or bathing wasnt an oprion which sucked. As water pressure seemed lovely and there was a jacuzzi tub that couldnt be used. Wifi hardly ever worked the three days and the entry code was backwards so took a bit to figure out how to get in.
