Close to beach, shopping and downtown, Serenity Cottage is a beautiful separate studio in a relaxing tropical setting with covered outdoor seating. Ideal for one guest for one month or longer, for work or play.
Free off- street parking! Private entrance! Free Wi-Fi and Roku TV with Cable and Netflix!
The cottage is thoroughly sanitized and aired between visits. I enjoy making friends with my guests, but I do offer contact-free check-in with social distancing as needed.
Best neighborhood in St Petersburg with stately oaks and brick streets that lead to Lake Pasadena bird sanctuary where wildlife abounds. Great for walking! Just a few minutes drive or bus to beaches, shopping, entertainment and culture in St Pete.
Cottage features a vaulted ceiling, comfy memory gel foam bed, convenient kitchen, private bath and plenty of storage. Completely furnished! Keurig Single Serve Coffee Maker or drip coffee maker, handy toaster oven-broiler, microwave, frig and induction cooktop. Linens, dishes, pots and pans, starter coffee and tea are provided.
You will enjoy outdoor dining under a covered deck right outside your door. Enjoy tasty meals cooked on charcoal grill in a lush, green backyard.
We usually cannot accommodate pets, but if you have a very small, very friendly dog, please discuss with me.
If you are an individual looking to stay more than a month, we can arrange for interim cleaning. For stays longer than 2 months, I will send a lease agreement with additional protections for both of us.

Happily living in my own home in this gorgeous, peaceful neighborhood, I am a retired college professor and occasional spiritual teacher who loves to make friends with my interesting guests. I'm happy to provide dining suggestions and tips about the St Pete area, or just stay out of your way. I also love to write, and I am inspired to work in my green and lush backyard, plus a veg bed, and rose garden. Mostly, I love to walk my friendly little dog, Lina, on the brick streets around Lake Pasadena where we meet wood storks, Canada geese, ibis, herons, eagles, cormorants, coots, ducks, sea gulls, turtles and plenty of friendly neighbors! I chose my home because of the beautiful, shady, peaceful and safe neighborhood with the natural lake just 2 blocks away. It's important to me to feel safe even while walking outdoors at night, and this place fits the bill perfectly. I bought my home in 2012 and built the cottage in 2013 to my own personal specifications for the fun of meeting interesting people who care to visit this slice of paradise.
