From start to finish Stu and Cathy were very attentive and easy toCommunicate with. The house is so beautiful and immaculate. They thought of everything! The pool, the covered patio, the furniture, the jacuzzi were amazing and the views were stunning. It was a home away from home! If this place is available when you are checking it, please don’t hesitate to book it because it is worth it. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful place and we can’t wait to come back!

Relaxed and Laid Back

The house was perfect for our family of 5 who was looking for a place to relax and unwind with goals of doing nothing but hanging by the pool. The house had plenty of room to spread out, a fabulous pool and yard and the beach chairs and wagon were perfect for a day trip to the beach!

Paradise!

Absolutely stunning property! No detail overlooked inside with gorgeous decor, quality furnishings, and views from every room. The pool area was amazing - pool was heated to perfection and the hot tub was a relaxing place to watch the incredible, ever-changing sunsets. We’d love to return again!

Great Relaxing Cottage

We had a great stay at the cottage. Plenty of room for a family of five. The kids enjoyed the pool and the sunsets were breathtaking. The cottage was in a great location; easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, gym, not a bad drive to Sanibel.

The Sunset Cottage was everything it advertised and more. Everything was exactly as pictured and was a beautiful place to stay. Great neighborhood and easy to get to. We didn’t need anything additional during our stay but our communication with the hosts before and after our stay was great and timely. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Cape Coral

A Perfect Florida Getaway!We had an absolutely amazing stay at this holiday let in Florida! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen supplies to beach towels.The location was ideal—close to shops, restaurants, and just a short drive to the beach. We especially loved relaxing by the private pool. It was so peaceful and felt like our own personal oasis.The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience.We’ve stayed in a number of vacation rentals over the years, but this one truly stands out. We’re already planning our next visit. Beautiful home!

We had a 14 day stay and would absolutely return. Beautiful property, perfect size pool, gorgeous sunsets, comfortable beds and bedding, and cozy atmosphere that made it feel like home. Communication with Stu was also speedy, which was wonderful.

Stu and Cathy have been married since 1980, you do the math! We have four grown children with four amazing spouses. We are the grandparents of twelve grandchildren and are semi-retired. We started our Vacation Rental Business in 2010. We found that Stu is awesome at customer service and Cathy is great at finding, rehabbing and decorating the homes. Together we make a great team. We love making unique vacation rental homes and sharing in the stories of your special vacations.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the Sunset view, the location for a sunny warm pool deck and the view of the lake. This home is just a half mile bike ride, or a short kayak ride from another of our Vacation Rental Homes VRBO 1453524 and we thought it would make a guest cottage to either rent alone or as overflow for larger families. We love to remodel homes and wanted to make this home into an amazing Vacation Property. And now we have Mermaid that is just 5 houses up the street on the same lake with the same amazing sunset. Mermaid VRBO #2787741.

What makes this property unique

This home has it all. 200 year old barn sliding doors, shiplap, farm sink, pebble showers, pool bath, a brand new shiny pool and hot tub with all the bells and whistles. Right down to a controller for the pool and spa inside the house. The extremely cool part is that our largest rental home Schell-Topia can be seen across the lake. If you need overflow for our larger home or if necessary it can be a Guest Cottage to that home or rent it on it's own.
