Maine Dream Cottage

The Maine Dream Cottage is our extremely well maintained and renovated family cottage located in the Granite Point neighborhood just between Goose Rocks Beach and Biddeford Pool. This incredible water view location has an unobstructed view of the Atlantic and quick access to multiple beaches plus local stores, shops & restaurants. The charming quiet neighborhood allows you to stroll or bike down the cottage road and take advantage of the large lawns, landscaping, multiple beaches. Plus kayaking and hiking trails in the Timber Point nature preserve. The the cottage has a wonderfully landscaped yard with an outdoor shower, fire-pit, Adirondack chairs, hammock, rocking chairs and parking for 2 cars. Here is some more information about the cottage:
The primary living space of the cottage is on the second story allowing you to take advantage of the great views of the ocean and large deck. The deck contains a teak dining table for 6, gas grill, outdoor speakers and two chaise lounges.
Downstairs are two primary bedrooms with queen beds, plus a set of bunkbeds. All bedrooms have been renovated with new Maine Cottage style furniture and Westin Heavenly mattresses. The kitchen has been renovated with new appliances and everything you need. All furniture has been replaced in just the last few seasons to provide a renovated feel to an authentic Maine cottage, featuring many items from LL Bean, Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. The bathroom has also been renovated with new furniture and fixtures from Pottery Barn. The cottage contains all of the comforts of home so that you can enjoy your stay. Even a beach wagon with beach chairs and kids toys. The cottage has wireless Internet and 3 smart TV's, plus a desk for working remotely. Come fall in love with our very special place.

A Cottage That Exceeds Every Expectation

A dream cottage for sure! Every second spent here was exceptional. Easy check in, the communication with the host was excellent, and the cottage itself is immaculate. Every detail has been thoughtfully provided for an amazing stay. It's the perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy this beautiful location! We loved our stay at this home. The house was spotless with quality furnishings and many thoughtful touches. Peaceful location and a lovely view. Great spot for walking the trails or exploring the beaches. Jeremy was a great communicator and quick to respond. Would certainly stay again.

Cozy Winter Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Granite Point. It's out of the way of the crowds at Kennebunkport, but still close enough for us to attend the preludes. The thermostats were a little unpredictable in the colder days, but we were able to dial it in for work we had to do from the house during the daytime. Would absolutely stay again!

Family Beach Stay 2024

We rented the cottage in July with our daughter and her family. The location is perfect with small children. The property has a great yard, that is perfect to sit and enjoy a fire. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck that overlooks the ocean. The cottage was stocked with everything you would need. We hope to come back soon.

Halloween staycation

It was a cozy staycation. Woodstove added to cozines as we had a mix of weather. Sunny warm days, rainy and raw, then windy and colder. I love to cook so the kitchen was well stocked with all the right stuff. The location is excellent for us.

Granite Cove

We love staying here in the Fall. It’s a real getaway from it all! That is why we choose to stay on the off season. The surround sound of the ocean. My husband and daughter must have caught over 30 beautiful striped bass! A win win! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets too!

Waterfront Gem

Beautiful quiet location, extremely clean house with upscale furnishings, comfortable mattresses and soft bedding, well equipped kitchen and perfect location near several restaurants and shopping. Multiple outdoor seating areas and quick walk to beach area. The owner Jeremy was very friendly and helpful taking time to talk me through the process of getting access to TV stations. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

"My wife and I recently had the opportunity to visit Jeremey's home , and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the area. the air was crisp and clean, and the views were simply breathtaking. We loved waking up every morning to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, enjoyed spending time exploring the nearby towns and villages, all were charming and picturesque. Sound of the waves, view of the sea

Well appointed cottage, well kept grounds, lovely antiques! Small but beautiful cottage on a quiet road.Location is an easy walk to Timber Point and even the little island at low tide. Lots of birds! Lots of restaurants and shopping in beautiful but touristy Kennebunkport. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the entry level with bunk beds in the hall to the upstairs, (fortunately there is a space to the side for a suitcase.) The bunks were a bit of a surprise as they are less private than the pictures show. They do not have curtains for privacy, each bunk has a fan, but no lamps) Upstairs is amazing, the well laid out kitchen with Viking appliances, lots of fridge space. Picture window that frames the cove view. The deck with teak furniture and cozy cushions (bring in for rain or dew) We loved it here, and would definitely come back, given the opportunity!

Perfect!

I realize now why this property has so many 5 star ratings. The pictures do not do it justice. It is more spacious than it appears in the the photos on VRBO. It was immaculately clean and the décor, feel, design, layout and incredible view made for the quintessential Maine cottage retreat. Bright and beautiful! It was very quiet and the beds are super comfortable, even the bunk beds. I don't mean the following as a negative just as a heads up...this is an upside down house, bedrooms on the ground floor and living, dining, kitchen, laundry on the upper floor, which is fine since it takes advantage of the incredible view. But the only bathroom is on the ground floor (bedrooms floor) and this may be a consideration for people with mobility issues. But the house is so incredible overall this would not dissuade me from staying there.

Amazing Place to Stay

This cottage was perfect! It is very clean, comfortable and cozy. It was our first time going to Maine and everything was incredible. The trail at the end of the road was wonderful and the views from cottage were breathtaking. We can't wait to go back.

Fabulous Cottage and location

We were so impressed with this adorable cottage. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The view is incredible! The host, Jeremy , was very responsive to any inquiries we had before and during our stay. The location is perfect for venturing out in all directions. Great trails up the street. The fall foliage was so pretty! I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
