Missoula Private Riverfront

A truly great Missoula Lodging riverfront property, just 15 minutes from the Missoula International Airport. The property spans 100 acres of riverfront that includes 3000 ft of Clark Fork River frontage. It is centrally located to all the outdoor pursuits the Missoula valley has to offer. Within 15 minutes of the House: Bitterroot River, Blackfoot River, Clark Fork River, our best whitewater in the Alberton Gorge, multiple National Forest trailheads, and Snowbowl Ski Area.

We recently remodeled this house with all new beds, appliances, large flat Screen TV, Wireless Internet, Sattelite TV, and western themed furniture. As good as the inside looks and feels, it is the outdoor recreation space of a large patio designed to give guests a great time enjoying Montana and overlooking the Clark Fork river.

Sleeping arrangements include -
Bedroom #1 – 2 queen beds and own bath.
Bedroom #2 – 1 queen bed, twin futon shared bath with Bedroom #3
Bedroom #3 – 1 queen bed, twin futon shared bath with Bedroom #2


We are located at the end of a well maintained private road so privacy is at a premium. The only neighbors you have are the trout, deer, eagles, ospreys', and the occasional wild turkey.

For winter dates there is always the possibility of snow. Snow removal services are lined up, but are not included in the rates and the additional fee is added on when required.

Beautiful view and accomidations. Beds were comfortable and privacy was excellent. Supplies were well stocked. Common areas were great for children and adults. Not any real play space outside without close adult supervision.

Relaxing and quiet getaway

This property is absolutely beautiful, overlooking the river. Plenty of room for family to be together or be on their own. Beautiful walkways along the river. Amazing views from every room of the house.

Pink Concert

We stayed here with family for the Pink concert in Missoula. Didn’t want to be on top of the crowds but did want to be close enough to town for convenience. We had a really good stay and enjoyed the lodge and surroundings.

Amazing!! This is a magical find if you are lucky enough to book. We stayed with our family of four including two little ones (ages 5 and 2). The property had everything we needed, it was very clean, and the host was very responsive. We were a little nervous about the hot week we picked (90 degrees almost every day) but we had no problem; the AC kept up. You have plenty of privacy along with beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife. There is also than enough room for little ones to explore with supervision. We would definitely book again!

Nice spot!

Enjoyed our 5 nights in the house! Great location for all our planned outdoor activities; fishing, hiking and golf. Lots of wildlife to be seen right from the deck. You could set your watch by the beaver every evening. Deer, fox, eagle and the beaver! Clean, comfortable, and a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The property was absolutely beautiful! .

The owner communicated the directions and checking in was a breeze. We were upgraded to the Trout Bluff cabin, which was amazing. Everything was well stocked, clean and the view beautiful!

Great Location

We were a family of 6 adults and two dogs. It was a great cabin for both! I especially loved the view out of the kitchen & great room windows, it was spectacular. The kitchen appeared to be newly remodeled. There was a storage type space where the washer/dryer were located with a concrete floor and easy access to your vehicles, we appreciated being able to store coolers, fishing gear and the like in this area. Sheree was wonderful and helped us get settled and scheduled a fishing float trip for 2 of our group, they had a great time. We really loved the location....not to far from Missoula for the non-fisher people, and also not terribly far to try out other rivers. It was a great family vacation, and it's even more special because we could bring our furry family members. Thanks to the entire staff!

Away from it all, but not exactly as advertised

Property is clean and isolated - perfect for getting away. I would say it’s more of a guys group get away than a solid family spot. No walkable access to the river for kiddos. This location also advertises room for 10, and definitely there are sleeping accommodations for that many, but the rest of the house is not really set up for such a load. Five total forks and three spoons made an otherwise well supplied kitchen a little challenging for mealtime. Additionally, there are only 6 kitchen chairs . Main room was great for movie time and relaxing on the couch, but you can’t get too cozy here as there are no dressers in the bedrooms. Also, renter beware of the season as the loft(third bedroom) gets pretty toasty and while the AC keeps the downstairs nice and cool the upper area can get really warm. The owner was responsive and accommodating -we requested a slow cooker and it was ready for us on arrival. Also, the grill outside worked great and the table and umbrella were well used and appreciated. Overall, this place served us well for our mini family reunion-A great base camp for all the near by activities and vistas.

Cute little house!

My husband and I rented both houses on the property for us and our friends for our wedding nearby. They are about a mile apart and very walkable (we enjoyed some morning/evening walks with the dogs in between the houses). This smaller property is so cool and is nestled right up on the river. We were able to see otters and deer right outside the house! It is close enough to the highway to be able to get around yet close to nature at the same time. The hosts were amazing and very responsive and helpful. Everyone loved their stay and had an incredible time. This house is perfect for a smaller group. It would have been nice to have one more bathroom (there were 2 for everyone to share), but it wasn’t necessary. We certainly plan to come back! We love both properties for different reasons :)

Great Stay

Beautiful home with great view. Plenty of room for the seven of us to hang out, cook and sleep. Loved the location as it was a little ways from town so it felt a little more secluded but very quick and easy to get into Missoula if we wanted. Definitely recommend this spot!

Winner on the river.

This is a gem of a secluded cabin on the river, not too far from town but far enough away.... Amazing views, and super well equipped home! Can’t say enough good things about it!

Over and Above

Besides being one of the more scenic properties I've ever stayed at, the owners when above and beyond the call of duty when we landed on the heels of an early winter storm (approximately 10-12" of snow). They kept in constant communication with us as needed, made ruts up the steep driveway to ensure our 4x4 rental could get up to the house. The kitchen had all we needed to make meals for the week and it was a very comfortable stay all around.

Amazing river front property on the Clark Fork River

The property was amazing. The key things that stood out during my stay included: - Cleanliness (super important given COVID-19) - Touch-less check-in/out - Amazing privacy and property amenities - Epic view of the river and mountains The only constructive comment I have from my stay is that I felt the VRBO description under sold the quality of the property. I recommend anybody stay at this property. I plan on vacationing at this property in the future.

Wedding Family Storage

Was a wonderful stay. Say elk, deer, Great Blue Heron, lots of ducks, eagles and fishing was fantastic. Could not have asked for a more beautiful place. We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to check in early and you were wonderful to work with.
