About this property

A delightful view from a river farm

This 1,500 SF recently renovated apartment is a lower level walk-out apartment with lots of natural light and amazing views. The apartment is located in our large farm house, which is on 24 acres viewing the Clark Fork River. The property is home to an operating farm and organic vegetable garden. You may also see, elk, deer, eagles, and lots of birds that roam and fly onto the property.

Located on a bench above the Clark Fork river, you will have spectacular views of the valley and the west flowing river. A convenient swimming and fishing access for the river is located a short 1.5 miles down the road. Guests have their own patio, for relaxation and views! There are lots of great hiking trails, and great boating opportunities nearby.

This home away from home consists of two large bedrooms, each with queen size beds, and 1 large bathroom. A double size air mattress is available to accommodate additional guests. The large living room includes a gas fireplace and kids games. The kitchen is new with tons of cabinetry and room for cooking.

This property is an easy all year round, 25 minute drive west of Missoula on Interstate 90.

We were in town for a friend’s wedding in Alberton and very much enjoyed our stay here. It was super close to the venue and had beautiful views. It was very clean and had everything you could need during your stay. Communication was great, said hi to the owner a couple times during our stay while he was out on the farm. Would definitely recommend!

This is a really lovely spot! Our group was pretty busy with festivities away from the property, but we really enjoyed the time we did have. Kitchen was week stocked, everything was clean. There is a train nearby but it didn't disturb anyone. The surrounding area is really quaint, not far from downtown Alberton. We would stay again!

This property and its owners make for a wonderful getaway. Very comfortable, clean as a whistle, GREAT fishing nearby, easy access to Missoula, and hosts that have thought of everything. We'll be staying there again!

I’ve never stayed in a more stunning location!!! Mike and Molly’s property was seriously dreamy and had all the amenities you could want/need. It was the perfect pairing of modern and cozy. We picked flowers at their flower farm, we sipped coffee on the front porch, and we played scrabble in the mornings. It was the absolute perfect weekend.

Wouldn’t change a thing ..beautiful and peaceful , the living room is spacious , all was clean and comfortable.And it comes with a soulful therapy dog who will sit present with you outside if you so desire …while you admire the view and watch the train go by …

Delightful stay

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Well worth being outside of Missoula. The hosts were fantastic and we loved getting visits from Louis their black lab, cats, and chickens. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit the area!

Relaxing location with a view!

What a fantastic place! Easy access from I-90. The owners are great, check-in was a breeze. Great local restaurant just a few minutes away. I can't forget to mention their Lab, Lewis, as he is a very good boy! I'll definitely be back!!

Griz weekend getaway

Wonderful place

This is a great place to stay with wonderful hosts. Lovely location overlooking the river and fabulous night skies for stargazing. All the amenities are supplied to ensure a comfortable stay. We typically spend about a week here as our son and his family live right down the road and we live on the east coast. We are thankful Mike and Molly have made their home space available.

We are both very active in the outdoors with a passion for river activities including whitewater rafting and camping. We include our gentle black lab in all activities. Michael is a farmer with a passion for local, sustainable food. Molly is a professional engineer and is also active in the community. We got married in the summer of 2015 and are now excited to establish a farm in the heart of Montana's beauty.

After years of searching for land that met our needs for a farm and provided access to Montana's recreational features, we were delighted to find our property. We are literally amazed at the views and the unique sunsets over the river. Elk, eagles and birds of all varieties frequent our home. We are thrilled to share our home with you.
