This tucked-away cottage is a gem that you are sure to fall in love with the moment you step inside. It’s the perfect home for front porch chilling and back deck grilling! You'll adore the luxurious touches like an outdoor cooler, private outdoor shower, and outdoor games on hand to enjoy. The new outdoor bar area features a refrigerator and ice maker, and it's easier than ever to relax under the stars in a seat next to the firepit.

This home is just a short walk across the street from beach access. Downtown Center Street is less than a mile away, so you can easily walk or bike to enjoy dining, shopping, and activities. Bert’s Market, less than a mile down Ashley Avenue, is your one-stop-shop for groceries, souvenirs, and more. Hop in the car and visit downtown Charleston, just under 12 miles away, to spend the day sightseeing, taking a history tour, shopping, or enjoying some fine southern cuisine.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Awesome Stay!

We loved our stay at the place. Perfect location on Folly, just a few short blocks to the beach. Kayaks included as well. Both porches are great!

Great Beach House!

Perfect- close to beach and town

Loved our week stay! The house was great for our family, the back deck and outside shower was the icing on the cake! So close to the beach, made it easy to take all of our beach gear to the beach. Close enough to Main Street Folly to ride the golf cart or cycle yet far enough to enjoy rocking on the screened in porch or watching tv on the back deck! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay!

Nice property with plenty of room for seven people to spread out. Screened front porch and back deck were perfect for entertaining. Outside shower was awesome. The local Vacasa team was responsive and easy to work with! Highly recommend this property and Vacasa!!

Close to the beach with great outdoor spaces!

Perfect for our 3 weeks at the beach. Wonderful outdoor spaces that gave room for everyone to be able to have space away from others. Loved the proximity to the beach and the outdoor shower was an added bonus. It was great having the outdoor ice maker! The kitchen was small but well stocked. Would definitely recommend this house for your beach stay.

Great outdoor spaces!

The home was a cozy cottage with amazing outdoor spaces! It was very close to the beach and a convenient 15-20 minute walk to Center Street for shopping and dining. We never had to drive! Wonderful vacation!

We love Folly Beach!

Sea Salt Cottage had everything we needed for two families to stay. The outdoor space is unbeatable and the amenities indoor suited those tired from a long beach day. The local VACASA team were amazing to work with and went above and beyond for our needs. I will definitely book this house again or any other VACASA managed home.

Love this house and location

Great house with lots of character. Easy walk to beach, playground, tennis courts and dog park. Porches made it feel like plenty of room to spread out! We will be back!

Nice 3 weeks on Folly

Loved the house, very quaint. Back porch awesome, enjoyed front also and survived Debby just fine! Only wish we could have had key to back door so we didn’t have to always lock from inside and go out the front.

Great little beach cottage

We loved this property! It is an old-school beach cottage that has its quirks(poorly fitting doors, uneven floors, etc.), but it is perfectly fit for purpose. The front porch and back deck are both great outdoor living spaces that make the the house feel much bigger than it is.

Jolly Folly with the family

The property is perfectly located a block or so from the beach. There is also a dog park, playground and basketball/ tennis/pickleball courts nearby. The outdoor area of the home is spacious. We enjoyed the screened in front porch for meals, as there is no dining table inside the house.

Nice House, Great Location

Had a great week. Clean, well located, nice amenities and as advertised. Cable only worked properly one day we were there. Ironically, it worked the day property mgmt came to look at it. Was out the next day and rest of the week and they never came back to fix it. That really is my only complaint.

A party house not for us

Home is ok shape but there was not a level floor in the home,; back porch sliding door handle broken (had to use a pvc pipe to wedge between the jam to keep it locked); internet would disconnect every 10 minutes (unaccceptable), and just overall seemed like the owner just did not care to take care of the place. Location is good but house is really not in good shape for the very high price we paid. If you go with college buddies then it is fine.

Good location!

The house was in a good location! Great proximity to the beach and walking distance to town! The outside spaces were wonderful! Spacious deck and cozy screened-in front porch! Comfy beds! Kitchen was small but well stocked! WiFi was not adequate, but made do with games and puzzles! Quirky doors and rolling floors added to the beachy feel of this house! Perfect for small groups.

FUN IN THE SUN

SPENT A WEEK AT THIS LOVELY COTTAGE. THE OUTSIDE LIVING SPACE WAS AWESOME, WHETHER YOU WERE IN THE BEAUTIFUL SCREENED IN PORCH OR HANING ON THE BACK DECK GOOFING OFF AND SUCKING UP THE MUCH NEEDED SUN. I WOULD DEFINITLY COME BACK

SO RELAXING...

Cutest cottage with such a relaxing vibe. SO close to beach (couldn't be closer to the entrance to the beach), beautiful yard with front & back porches for so much chill time. Quaint, clean and loved the entire week! Will definitely be back and rent here again.

Stay at Sea Salt Cottage

Great house with lots of "beach" character. We would stay there again. Ease of getting to the beach is a definite plus! The deck with its amenities was the best we've had. The outside TV was fantastic, especially with its special designed outside screen!! Absolutely the cleanest gas barbecue grill we've ever experienced at a beach rental!! Clean and ready to use upon arrival.

Classic Beach House

We love the screen porch and all the outdoor space. The location was perfect, it was just a short walk to the beach. It's a great space for multi generation family or two families and very kid and pet friendly. The kitchen is a little small but there was plenty of dishes and happy to have sharp knives. Windows don't open so air conditioned at night when its warm. The outside TV and big table with umbrella was great. Beds were comfortable and linens were nice. The house was very clean and had nice extra touches for a family week at the beach.

Fun beach getaway

We had a great stay at Sea Salt Cottage. The real highlights of this great home are the outdoor spaces: screened porch out front with a dining table plus swing and comfy seating; the large rear deck with another dining table, loungers, grill, heater, bar with refrigerator and ice maker plus a big-screen outdoor TV, the private outdoor shower and backyard with firepit - all amazing!
