Great location and space

The cabin felt plenty big for our group of 7. The porch and deck were a huge bonus. The pool was great. Quick drive to the beach and downtown.

Great escape!

Perfect location just outside the village of LG. Still feels like your camping, while avoiding the crowds visiting the village. Cabin was a great fit for my family; clean, spacious, and homey. Wish there was a microwave, DVD player, and fire pit (for camp fires); but we made it work. The owners were accommodating and personable. I’d like to keep this spot a secret, but we had such a great time it would be hard to do……

Observations

It's location was not far from the village{5 minutes). Beautiful swiming pool, bring your own supplies to cook on. Great space,great service if you need anything, the owners are right there. We had TV and Cable,plus more. They did allow children--they were all behaved. Thank you for a restful time.PK

The property encourage outdoor activities

The cottage smelled like mold. If you have any type of allergy/asthma this is not a good fit The towels and linen were clean and beds well made. The fridge was clean. I dropped something that rolled in under the bed and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while Limited cooking supplies available. If you’re planning on cooking and grilling bring your own knife, cutting board, bowls, scrub sponge, paper towels etc The management was kind and ready to provide us with coffee filters and toilet paper The pool was nice and fairly clean with nice lounge chairs Cottage number 1 is right by a busy road so it’s quite noisy We had a good time at the lake and we enjoyed the pool but we will not likely be staying at Golden Eagle again

Great place to stay.

The cabin was spacious for all six of us and the kids enjoyed the pool and basketball Court. It is a great place with wonderful people who own it. This was our second time there and plan on continuing to go back every summer.

Lake George vacation

The location of this property is great for Lake George. Easy access to the downtown as well as to Bolton Landing. Easy access off the highway as well. The place was clean and comfortable. It did not have a microwave or toaster, both of which we thought were there. There were also no utensils (I think this was due to COVD). Also due to COVID, we did not initially get towels but once we asked, they did give them to us. We did not use the pool or the play area but both seemed nice and were easy to access. Overall, we would stay again and prepare a bit more for the kitchen.
