The Otter House is a beautiful home that is the perfect blend of that cozy adirondack experience, with modern touches. It is decorated with a rustic modern style. The home's town location is convenient and walking distance to shopping and the olympic center. But, its uniqueness lies in the quiet secluded location right on the water, with beautiful water and mountain views. The town proximity with a quiet, waterfront location is a rare combination in Lake Placid! You can have it all at our house!

The open concept great room is perfect for those family gatherings and for spending time together. There are beautiful hardwood floors and wood trim throughout, a gas fireplace in the living room and granite counters in the kitchen. The second floor of the home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, along with a knotty pine sleeping porch for additional sleeping. Also, the open suite in the lower level has a 70" screen TV, game room and guest suite with sleeping for 4 along with its own private full bath. Our home is perfectly laid out for multiple families or a couples' get away. The home contains WIFI throughout.

MAIN FLOOR:

The open concept is great for spending time together. The kitchen opens to both the dining area and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a cook would need. There are beautiful granite counters with a gas stove for cooking. We enjoy cooking while in our home, so you should find everything required for a gourmet meal.

Kitchen: place settings for 10, coffee maker (drip and Keurig), toaster, blender, mixer, oven and gas stove, microwave, refrigerator

Dining: table for 8 plus 4 barstools on counter

Living: Large, comfy sectional sofa, TV and DVD player, gas fireplace.

Porch: Covered porch with seating for 4 and gas grill right off the dining and living area.

2ND FLOOR:

The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, plus the sleeping porch and sleeping for 8 people.

1st Bedroom: King size bed, walk in closet, and full bath with double sinks and glass walk in shower.

2nd Bedroom: Queen size 4 poster bed with a full closet.

3rd Bedroom: Full size bed including a full size closet.

Main Bath: Full hallway bath with tub/shower combo shared by bedrooms 2 & 3.

Sleeping Porch: Gorgeous knotty pine, year-round porch off the king bed bedroom and 3rd bedroom. It is lovely sitting out here enjoying the view on the chaise lounge, which you can convert into sleeping for 1.

LOWER LEVEL

There is a ton of space for multiple uses in the lower level. The studio suite has room for entertaining, extra sleeping, family game night, or a place for the kids to get away. The lower level sleeps 4.

Sleeping: Queen size Adirondack log bed. Also there are bunk beds in their own separate nook that sleep 2.

Relaxing: Large sectional sofa, 70" flat screen TV and DVD player.

Gaming: Foosball table, PS3 game system, puzzles and board games.

Outdoors: From the lower level, walk right outside to a covered patio. There is seating on the patio for dining or enjoying the view. You will find a fire pit to enjoy the nights and stocked with firewood. Also, there are steps leading to our dock on the Chubb River for some fishing or paddling. There are 2 kayaks and a canoe for your use.

Amenities: All high end linens provided. Puzzles, games, DVD collection and books are there for you to enjoy.
