This home was a welcome comfort during our trip. It was relaxing and warm. We highly recommended this property, especially if you are traveling with family. The hosts were attentive and friendly.
There were 5 of us with two toddlers and everyone enjoyed their stay. Hillary was very easy to communicate. The house was darling, and just down the road was a beautiful park. It was very convenient to our seminar downtown Spokane. We will definitely stay here again!
Enjoyed our repeat stay at this great home! Perfect location and size for our family. I love the way it’s decorated and the place is comfortable and well-equipped. Home away from home. We’ll be back!
So clean and beautiful! Beds were so comfortable! Everything was so intentional when furnishing the home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes for cooking meals. Large dining room table for family games. Such a homey atmosphere. Quiet neighborhood. The extra touches like the coffee bar, the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, in both bathrooms, the pet supplies meant a lot. There is even a framed chocolate chip cookie recipe framed in the kitche (YES, we baked cookies!). Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home!
The stay was great. We traveled with 4 teens and 2 adults for a cross country race. The beds were comfy but pillows were a bit flat. The living room and fireplace were the coziest spot to relax on the couch for a movie! The coffee/tea maker was a hit and meals were easy to prepare in the kitchen!
The house was warm and welcoming and beautiful. We felt comfortable and everything was as described. We had a great time and would definitely recommend. Our dogs loved the yard!
Great home - quirky and adorable with a lot of extra, thoughtful touches. We felt very comfortable, slept great. Our kids just wished we could’ve spent more time at the house!
Everything was comfortable and cozy! The home is located right in the middle of any direction you need to go! Host is available and readily to assist if needed. We all enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I loved our time at this property, living in Spokane for 2 months. This property quickly became our home away from home. We look forward to staying here again!
We were very happy staying at this home. It was clean and had all of the amenities!

About the host
Hosted by Hilary
Hilary and her family moved to Spokane about 8 years ago to get away from the hussle (and HEAT) of Las Vegas. Spokane is such a delightful gem in the Inland Northwest! Since arriving in Spokane, Hilary and her husband Loren are both licensed Realtors, GOLD award recipients, helping others to find their "forever" home in the Inland Northwest.
They own and operate three vacation rental homes in Spokane: The Blue Bungalow, a 1954 mid-century two bedroom home on the South Hill, The Comfy Craftsman, an adorable 1910 craftsman located in the Downriver/Audubon area, and The Overlook Nook, a mid-century two bedroom home in the delightful Garland district. Between the three homes, they have assessed over 300 5-star reviews!
Why they chose this property
A charming Craftsman style home built in 1910 offering a main floor master bedroom with additional bedroom/space for the family. The spacious deck, offering outdoor dining space, overlooks the gently sloping backyard. Audubon Park is located just west of the home, a short 5 minute stroll, which features picnic space, playgrounds, grassy and treed areas.
What makes this property unique
Great NW location, conveniently located near shopping, Audubon Park, the Spokane River and golfing.
