Beautiful views over the pool and out to sea, very short walk to the supermarket and less than five minutes drive to the beach, great place.

Stayed at this apartment 3 times now and will be booking again for next year , it is a fabulous size with all amenities you need , super location with an amazing swimming pool , so handy for the town also which had the best restaurants, would highly recommend

Fantastic apartment. Great location.

Great clean bright and well maintained apartment. Fully equipped and fantastic view. Great pools for the younger and older children. Would highly recommend this large 2 bedroom apartment. Lovely living area equipped kitchen for everything you need.

Fantastic Property

This is the 4th year in a row stsying in this property. It is a fantastic apartment in a grst complex, immaculately clean with all mod cons including wifi, espresso maker, washing machine etc. Highly recommend, looking forward to staying again next year.

Excellent Location

Great location with a large pool. Having to take sun parasols to the swimming pool was rather annoying but apart from that it was a well appointed apartment. The single beds were very hard and best suited to children.

Perfect for a family !!

This apartment is ideal for a 3 children family. This is large enough for everyone to have its own space. Moreover, the location is very close to the beach then the issue is to choose between rhe pool or the beach. We will come back very soon.

Lovely apartment but not suitable for young children.

Vila Marachique is a perfect place for children. The apartment is lovely and contains everything needed. My only criticism is that we could not go on to the balcony as the safety grid does not go all the way down, there is a gap large enough for a young child to climb through, which needs to be addressed.

Thank you for your comment. It is true that the parapets of the 2 balconies were delivered with horizontal bars and large gaps that could invite children to escalate the parapets and potentially fall from the balconies. As I was aware of this risk, I installed grids to prevent children from escalating the parapets. I did not imagine that someone would leave small children unattended on the balcony (as well as we expect that guests look after their children to prevent them for spoiling everything in the apartment), but, given this possibility, I changed the position of the grids and reduced the gap from 16 cm to 7,5 cm making it impossible for a small child to climb through. Please be aware that this does not prevent them from climbing on a chair to fall from the balcony above the parapets. We had ourselves 10 grandchildren spending vacations at various ages and a lot of others coming with guests, and believe me, with a minimum of care, this apartment is a perfect fit for babies and small children.

Francisca was exceptional throughout our stay, always helpful, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. We have been staying at this property since 2021, and once again it exceeded all expectations. Gérard maintains the property impeccably, with every detail thoughtfully considered and everything you could possibly need provided. It has such a wonderful atmosphere and positive energy that makes it feel like a home away from home.Although we only managed a five-day stay this year, we loved every minute of it. The pool area and café run by João are a real highlight. Whether stopping by for snacks, dinner, or drinks, the food and service are always excellent. João and his team are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and positive, he truly is one of a kind and a big part of what makes our visits so special.Year after year, we look forward to returning, and this place continues to be one of our favourite holiday destinations. Thank you, Gérard, Francisca, and João, for another wonderful stay and for making us feel so welcome. We can't wait to come back again.
