Situated on 110' of lakefront this home features a gourmet kitchen w/ seating for 5 at breakfast bar, dining area that overlooks the lake and w/seating for 8. Open and spacious living room w/ wood burning fireplace that has floor to ceiling brick chimney, one bedroom and 1.5 baths conveniently located on the main floor. On the second floor you will find the master bedroom that overlooks Chautauqua lake and master bath which features a jetted tub and sauna. Sitting area with panoramic views, guest suite, 2 more bedrooms and 4 baths finish the upstairs. Outside you will enjoy a spacious deck that leads you down to a large lawn perfect for out door games, gazebo and dock. Great location

The lakefront location of this home cannot be beaten and the scenery is beautiful! This house accommodated a large group well. Overall the house was pretty clean (floors, windows, bathrooms), however there were a lot of spiderwebs/ cob webs noted throughout the house. The kitchen is spacious, updated and has everything you need for cooking. It was nice having a lot of beds/sleeping spaces in the home so that we did not have to bring air mattresses along. Each bedroom has a bathroom as well which was convenient. We were disappointed that the indoor/outdoor speaker system did not work. Also the hot tub was out of order which we were not told about prior to checking in (we were excited that the property had one since it was cooler when we stayed at the house and not ideal swimming weather). The property manager was quick to respond to our questions though, which was helpful! Overall I would recommend this home!

Bad start but ended up ok

The house is located on a very nice piece of property that is private with beautiful gardens. The lawn is well-mancured and perfect for outdoor games. The depth at the end of the dock is only about 3 feet and there is a lot of seaweed so swimming was not ideal for us. When we arrived, the beds and bathrooms were clean but other than that, the house had not been dusted or vaccuumed, and the windows were filthy. Although well-stocked, the kitchen was not clean either. We had to re-wash all of the dishes, as many were not clean, and the drawers and utencil holders were full of crumbs so they had to be wiped out. We called the cleaners back and they vaccuumed and dusted a little but they were very put out and said that everything was clean when they left earlier that day... One of the women was rude and didn't take us seriously. I felt like management should have paid us the $300 cleaning fee as we spent the entire 1st day getting the place in order. The gas grill outside was an absolute fire hazard. It had not been cleaned in a really long time, so we had to take it apart and clean it in order to be able to grill safely. It is a shame because with upkeep the place could be gorgeous. The bedrooms are generous in size as are the bathrooms, and the open concept downstairs was great for our family. We had good wifi for those who needed to check in with work, and despite the disasterous start to the vacation, we ended up having a nice time.

Wonderful Week

The property provided a wonderful week with family and friends. There was plenty of space for 10 of us which included 6 adults and 4 teens. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the many bathrooms provide plenty of personal space. The property is beautiful - the expansive yard and landscaping are very well maintained. However the long dock was unsteady to the extent where older family members were not comfortable walking out on it. The kitchen and family room are great indoor gathering places, with lots of seating. Very high quality appliances were nice to have as well. The carpet in the family room definitely needs to be replaced. The deck on the house is a great outdoor gathering spot as well. Great size and nice awnings for some shade. However I think there really needs to be railings installed, as I am surprised the deck meets code without them. It is a safety concern to have a 3+ foot drop off the side of the deck with no railings. Overall a very nice home that we enjoyed very much, though it certainly could use a bit more maintenance work to fix broken door/window, running toilets, etc. We really did enjoy our time, and would likely stay again, especially if a little investment is made in the upkeep going forward.

Wonderful, family week!’

This was our second year renting this property. It is a beautiful home, and the outside land is amazing! It was perfect for our family. There are some things that could, and Should be fixed for safety and everyday convenience. I hope they are attended to. We would love to return in 2023!!

Our multi-family group enjoyed this lake front home. The bedrooms are large, and each have their own bathroom allowing the families enough space to enjoy some privacy. The updated kitchen is large and fully stocked. There are several refrigerators, a full-size freezer, and a wine fridge to store all your local wine purchases. The dock worked well for both of our boats. The large yard was well manicured and perfect for games and sunbathing. The firepit is close to the lake front and was great for star gazing (bring your camping chairs). We enjoyed meals on the large back deck that is partially covered. Large windows stretch across the front of the house allowing for gorgeous lake views (we enjoy a good lake storm!). There are two central air conditioning units that presumably cool all but two of the bedrooms that had window AC units in them. We had to contact management upon our arrival because only one of the window units worked and only one of the central air units worked. That left us with only 2 rooms (the 2 smallest bedrooms) with air conditioning. The large windows that stretch across the house do not have blinds so the house heats up quickly on warm sunny days. Management said someone would be by midweek to look at the AC units, but no one showed. We were lucky to have cool nights and live close enough to make a trip home to grab a couple fans to cool the place down at night. Surfaces were clean but a deep clean is desperately needed (under appliances, vents, windows, under furniture). Management left a note acknowledging that maintenance is required on the front deck, front doors (they’re inoperable leaving 14 people coming and going out of the slider on the side of the house), and the dock. Our group has been visiting Chautauqua Lake for decades and was looking for a large rental to accommodate our ever-growing family. Though this home lacks some attention to detail it allowed for all of us to spend the week together and we’d be happy to stay again!

Buma cation 2021

My family have rented now for 4yrs. This was our first stay at this house. We have children that come in from all over the country. It is our most precious and anticipated family time. The house did not disappoint! Beautiful yard, rooms were spacious and loved all the bathrooms! We would love to return next year!

Last minute family vacation

Beautiful property in Western NY. Spacious, well equipped house with beautiful grounds. Foggy mornings led to sunny afternoons. Our family of 13, 2 to 63, had another great annual event. If you want a good place to gather as a family, this would be good.

Amazing View of Lies

I'm not one to complain and usually dismiss negative reviews, and give owners the benefit of the doubt. But in this case people need to know that this rental is over priced and not as advertised! The only thing that's worth it is the lake views and the "space". My family rented this property as a last minute "Plan B" vacation after our original plans were cancelled due to COVID. A hot tub was listed as an amenity (one of the reasons we booked), but were informed it was "broken" from the previous review, when in reality we found out it was never in working condition and the Owner had no intention of fixing it. VRBO indicated they are now listing without a hot tub to be truthful to future renters. Overall, although the amazing lake views, spacious home, and big kitchen were great, there are several things in disrepair and that are unsafe: -The frig stopped working, we called the Property manager with no call back after 24 hours. It took a second call before they said they'd send someone out. - There are no working dock lights making it difficult to see at night. - The dock itself is in extremely poor condition, wobbly, with a section completely bowed in, and felt unsafe to walk on with boards ready to break. - The ladder on the dock to get out of the water was broken, missing a step and is not even connected on one side (simple screws would fix it!). - Several towel bars were broken and just “set” on to look like they worked but fell off the wall. - The glass shower door in one room is falling off, and would have shattered on my 7-year old had my sister not been there to grab it! - Black flecks came out of the Jacuzzi tub when the jets were turned on, showing it's not cleaned properly. - Outdoor speakers don't work, among SEVERAL light switches that appear to do nothing (probably just bulbs that need replaced!). In reality, you could rent another place on the lake with more amenities for less money per night. Its unfortunate that at one time this was a beautiful place, but it has been let go with repair of normal wear and tear items completely disregarded. It's in a great location, with meticulous care to landscaping, but not much care to much else. KEEP LOOKING for something better!

Fourth of July Family Getaway

Overall, our experience was wonderful. The house is generally well maintained and the surrounding landscape is stunning. The kitchen is well stocked and provided more than sufficient dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. for our group of ten adults. Two of the bedrooms are oddly configured and not well represented in the online photos. The first floor bedroom is “smallish” and features a single over double bunk bed with very limited storage/closet space. The upstairs guest suite features a bedroom with an exposed bathroom (the shower and sink are right in the bedroom with no privacy walls while the toilet is in a small closed off space. There is also a pull out double trundle bed where the dining table is sitting in the online photos. The guest suite is poorly air conditioned and reached 85+ degrees on most days. A small window fan helped move the air a bit. There is no TV in the guest suite. The on-site dock was sufficient for fishing and anchoring a pontoon boat, but is not in the condition illustrated in photos. There is no railing or lighting. Our biggest disappointment was the inoperable hot tub. It is still listed as an “amenity”, but has clearly not been in working order for some time. It should be removed from the amenities listing and the nightly rate should be adjusted accordingly, as many of us rent homes based on these features. This is a beautiful property and a little more attention to maintenance details (changing burnt out lightbulbs, repairing outdoor sound system, peeling wallpaper, black ants in first floor bedroom) would make it a definite “rent again” location.
