Wonderful lake area located just off Rte 430 and 1 mile from I-86. TourChautauqua.com is a great site for events all year long!
Get ready to relax in this 3-bedroom, 2 full baths house directly on the lake. This is a peaceful, tranquil area that captures the beautiful sunrise and sunset. This freshly remodeled property features 2 queen beds, 1 queen sized bunk bed, and 2 twin beds, perfect for families or groups of friends up to 10 people. The 2 bathrooms come equipped with showers and all linens.
With amenities like WiFi, full kitchen with brand new appliances, under counter built in ice maker, beverage fridge, kayaks, firepit, grill and a washing machine/ dryer combo, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay.
We are located in Bemus Point CSD and 2 minutes from the popular Steener's Pub and The House that Jack Built. Tops, Dollar General, and local gas stations are all within 3 minutes. We are directly across the lake from Lakewood where you will find Wegmans, Target, TJ Maxx, Panera, Olive Garden (the list goes on.....)! Lakewood and its multiple shops and quaint town are a two turn drive and takes less than 20 minutes.
Relaxing on either level of the two story porch, the dock, or the front yard, you have direct views of the beautiful Chautauqua Harbor Hotel and Celeron. Summertime breezes carry live music and fireworks displays are common during warmer months. The Chautauqua Institution is a short drive utilizing the bridge at Bemus Point, or better yet bike and take the Bemus-Stow Ferry. By car, it is only a 16 minute drive! Additionally, there is a scenic Riverwalk Bike Trail that connects to the far reaches of Jamestown that is only a 1/4 mile away. Be sure to check out the Comedy Center as well.
There is a ramp for boat and jetski launching 8 houses down the street. The dock is removed in mid October.

There are outside cameras for protection for ourselves and our guests. COOLERS WITH ICE are not allowed in the house. Please keep them outside in a shady area. Any leak that leads to water issues and or damage will incur a damage fee.

A free bundle of wood is supplied for one evening, and any additional usage will incur a fee that is comparable to local sellers.

Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Trash pickup is on Friday - please make sure all bags are placed in green tote outside garage
Our neighbors are super friendly but do not cross into their yards! Parking overflow is allowed in the street but do not block creek/public easement.
There are 2 outside cameras. Do not tamper with them. This is for our protection and the renters.

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend this house. It was immaculate, well stocked, and we really appreciated the extra touches like the lit Christmas tree when we arrived. It was a wonderful weekend at the lake! Fall colors were at their peak and a nice crisp in the air. The fire pit outside was enjoyed as was the one inside when we cozied up inside to watch football! House was clean and had everything we would need! Extra towels were left per request and the kayaks were a huge hit! There was even a wedding at the nearby hotel and a bonus firework show!

The lakefront cottage was wonderful. Clean, well stocked and convenient to locations up and down the lake. It was a great home base for my brothers and our families as we visited family throughout the area. Next time we’ll take the kayaks out!

We had a wonderful time on Lake Chautauqua. The home was very clean with lots of amenities. We enjoyed watching movies at night and making smores. The fireplace helped to take the chill off at night. Overall it was a great experience. Everything we needed was right there.

Great stay. Completely updated. Clean well equipped. 4 kayaks are on site which my family loved. Fire pit was nice wood was provided. Plenty of dock space for water craft. Fish galore bring a pole. Our stay was for 4 nights.

Lovely renovation of an older home. Updated, clean open floor plan. Nicole was a great host and provided all information as needed. Beds were all very comfortable! Only changes I would recommend are better towels and a towel or drying rack or 2 upstairs, and better seating for a group in the living area. Aside from that, our stay was great and I would recommend this property to others.

Thank you for staying with us! The towels supplied were based on the rental contract for 2 people. Many more stayed, which is fine, but more towels would have been left to accommodate the larger number. We also provided laundry detergent, a washer and dryer if the need arose to clean used towels.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake house and we truly can’t say enough good things! The home was clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, and both cozy and charming. The owners were a pleasure to work with and made the entire experience seamless.The house was even more spacious than we expected, with plenty of room for our group. The kids, ranging in age from 6 to 16, had a blast and are already asking when we can go back!The kayaks were a huge hit with everyone and such a fun way to explore the lake. The kids spent hours fishing right off the dock and caught a bunch! And When they weren’t fishing, they were swimming off the dock!One afternoon we took a short drive (about 20 minutes) to Panama Rocks, which was a fantastic adventure for everyone. Afterward, we stopped by 4 Corners Ice Cream in the town of Panama. The scoops are huge, the owner was so kind, and just a heads up it’s cash only, but definitely worth the visit!The house was perfect for our family, allowing for quality time together and lots of memories were made!

Nice lake house

The house is as pictured and they did a lovely job of remodeling the home. Most everything we needed for our stay was provided, although it would have been nice to have grill tools, and some additional serving dishes and sheet pans as we did cook everyday. The only other complaint would be the beds are VERY firm, which isn't our preference. If you like a firm mattress, you'll be all set. If you prefer something softer, you may want to bring a mattress pad with you.We enjoyed fishing off the dock and we did take the kayaks out one day during our stay as well. Just a note about the fishing - there are a ton of pan fish off the docks and you will have no trouble fishing with live bait. The weeds are very thick at this end of the lake and you'll end up with a bunch of weeds on your line if you try to use a lure that isn't top water. Not the owners fault as the weeds are thick all over this end. We caught perch, crappies, sunnies, and a few largemouth bass right from the dock.The only downside to this trip came after we left the property in which the owner continuously contacted me for several days insisting we had caused water damage to the floor in the kitchen. Accusations that we must have brought lake water or had a cooler leak and left it to soak into the floor for 5 days - none of which happened. It was their ice maker that leaked under the floor that caused the damage. There was a brief apology but it already had tainted our experience. Not sure we would return now.

Sabrina, her family, and guests were our 3rd renters. The supplies she mentioned have been added to the kitchen. We have also installed a pump on the dock to clear the weeds and like our neighbors, have worked diligently to remove them. The ice maker leak was sincerely apologized for. I assumed her acceptance was sincere.
