This sunny, bright, peaceful spacious place with 1000 sq ft for 2 bedrooms and 1. 5 bath that it is the upper unit of a duplex property with lots of natural light. It has top speed Internet, flat screen TV. Central hearting and a wash/dryer inside the unit. Quiet streets and a short walking distance to downtown Alameda. Beautiful beach near by, where you can relax mentally and physicality. It located in the central Alameda, close to South Shore Premium shopping center which has great restaurants, , coffee shops, only two blocks away from exciting park street, and walking distance to the beach. Safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Easy transportation to San Francisco by ferry, or bus. 4.6 mile to OAK airport.

Great place for families
We stayed here for a few days with my child who is just over a year old. It worked great for us! The space is pretty well baby proofed and the host was kind enough to leave a booster seat, pack n play, and age appropriate toys for us to use. The neighborhood is safe and cute too. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

Great location in Alameda
The property description was spot on: great location, quiet neighborhood, clean, full kitchen with spices, great internet, and touches of thoughtfulness such as the welcome snack basket. The host's communication was quick and responsive. Highly recommend.

Positives: clean, well furnished in nice quiet/safe neighborhood.
Negatives: no sleeping-in due to daycare downstairs, idiotic door lock system for getting in/out that didn’t work and required calling owner for help multiple times, which was quick. Even they had problems with it.
