Small, renovated house with a terrace in the heart of St. Pierre d'Oléron

Small semi-detached Charente house of 44 m2 renovated in 2020 with a very bright living room opening onto the kitchen and the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with small induction hobs, an oven, and a dishwasher. It has a bedroom with a double bed and an extra bed for children (8/12 years old) on a mezzanine (access is steep cf. photo)The bathroom with natural light is equipped with a large shower and a washing machine. The sofa in the living room is convertible and can accommodate one person (comfortable extra bed in 120).
On the terrace you can have a quiet lunch and enjoy a plancha, a table, chairs, parasol and 2 deck chairs.
You can park nearby (public parking at the end of the street) and do your shopping on foot. 2 minutes away is the superb covered market open during the high season every morning and the rest of the year 4 times a week. The shopping street is also right next door with its shops, restaurants, bars and cinema.
The village of Saint Pierre is in the middle of the island of Oléron, you can easily criss-cross all the beaches by bike or car, the nearest beach is 3.5kms away, very doable by bike and family by the cycle path.

Attention: *during school and summer holidays the house is rented by the week. From November to March inclusive (in April depending on the temperatures) an extra charge is 40 euros for heating for the week, 25 for 4 days. This supplement is not included in the rental. * Accommodation for 2 people or 3 people maximum (sofa in the living room without shutters)
