About this property

ABBEY VIEW COTTAGE, pet friendly, with a garden in Robin Hood’s Bay

Able to sleep up to four people, this property is within easy driving distance of Robin Hood's Bay.

This charming, stone-built barn conversion is located opposite a working dairy farm in the small rural farming village of High Normanby. Close to Fylingthorpe and just two miles from Robin Hood's Bay, this property is composed of a double bedroom, a well-equipped galley kitchen and an open plan living space with seating area and electric stove. Traditionally furnished throughout, the property has an appealing garden to the front, as well as impressive views across open farmland to Whitby Abbey.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric stove in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, WiFi, TV, video, DVD player, stereo/CD player. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Side lawned area. Sorry, no smoking. Two well-behaved medium sized dogs welcome. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: The garden is detached from the property, pets to be supervised

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: With its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, Robin Hood's Bay is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coast. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming fishing community is located at the edge of a sweeping bay backed by cliffs and rugged moorland scenery. Visitors can enjoy a variety of beach and cliff top walks, or alternatively more serious walkers can attempt the long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks – all of which take in Robin Hood's Bay. The village amenities are superb, offering everything a guest might need, while charming alleyways and plenty of places to relax, make this a wonderful spot for a vacation.

Abbey View

Nice quiet location, ideal base for walkers and dog owners. Easy access to many attractions. The 2 dogs loved it, with own excersie field. Well equipped, warm and comfortable. Would go again and recommend to anyone.

Short break with Finley

Small and basic, but had almost everything. crockery was a mishmash, no Tupperware type containers, food storage was very limited. most annoying thing was the small step as you entered the cottage and the small step into the bedroom, kept stumbling on them. Good location.
