About this property

Walk to the Gondola of the Best Ski Mountain in Colorado!

Ideal for skiing in winter or hiking, biking and relaxing in summer, our home is within walking distance of not only the slopes but shops, markets and many restaurants. The fabulous first floor unit is the largest in Snowflower and within 50 yards of the gondola and the kids ski school at the base of the ski mountain. It’s a short walk on a heated path to the slopes. Enjoy champagne powder skiing, one of the best ski school programs in the country and a kid/family friendly atmosphere.

The outdoor hot tub is large and secluded and the outdoor pool is heated year round.There are picnic tables and BBQ grills for outdoor dining. A bus stop is located right across the street.The free bus runs to the shops, large grocery store and 'Old Town' every 20 minutes, eliminating any need for a car.

The first floor corner unit is spacious and very comfortable. It is the nearest of the Snowflower units to the ski slopes. One of the master bedroom has a large walk-in closet with its own bath, a deck and a queen bed. A second master bedroom has its own bath, a large closet and a queen bed. Both baths have just been remodeled. Two other bedrooms share a bath and have two twin beds in each. One has a small deck and the other its own sink. The living room is large, sunny and has views of the ski mountain as well as a gas fireplace. There is a large deck out front. Contemporary, new living room furniture with a flat screen TV and stereo add to your pleasure.The dining area easily accommodates 10 and has a breakfast bar for four as well. The kitchen is well stocked and has every gadget one might wish for as well as cookie pans waiting to be filled!

In addition to the BBQ grills right outside the door, there is a large, stone encased grill structure available for guest use by the heated pool with a fireplace on the side facing the pool. The pool area is fenced and the gate is locked requiring a key for access. Separate pool towels are provided.

There are coin operated laundry facilities located in the building.

The unit is wired and access is free. There is a computer available in the lobby.

Mardi Gras Vacation

We utilized this property for our first ever family vacation to Steamboat. The location was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ronnie was ver helpful and quick to answer all my questions. Looking forward to returning.

Fantastic location

Our group was two families of four with middle grade kids. The place is super convenient with an easy walk to the gondola. Loved how each room had separate thermostat. The kitchen is very functional. The host is very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Fantastic condo with primo location to the slopes!

We had a FANTASTIC stay over New Year’s! You can’t beat the location of the condo in relation to the mountain & many, many fabulous eating establishments within walking distance! We had great communication with the owner & she was beyond accommodating. We needed more toilet paper & it was delivered promptly. Before we left we booked our visit for next year! We cannot wait to return! Thank you for sharing your “home away from home” with us!

Wonderful!

We loved this place! Super short walk to lifts(2-3 min walk), especially being the end unit. And you can ski in even closer if you ski down the trails from the top of the Steamboat gondola. Very spacious for our group of 7 adults with well thought out furnishings. Kitchen was large enough to cook all our meals and the owner Ronnie even ordered us a pizza stone for the oven when we asked of there was one. Spotlessly clean as well. Ronnie was great to work with, very responsive and informative. Also noteworthy is that there is a little market and liquor store across the street for basic items. We will be back!

Pros and Cons

Pro: It was a nice home. Felt comfortable staying there. Con: Needs a thorough cleaning. Oven was dirty, dusty under beds and on top of cabinets. Air filter needs to be replaced. Washer hot/cold reversed. Refrigerator leaks and never was fixed. Disappointed that the lanai screen was damaged when we were told there was just some tree damage after the hurricane.

Great location and very comfortable

The condo is very convenient to the ski resort. It's location on the property (first floor and closest to ski resort) gives it easy access, especially when carrying skis or snowboards. The condo was very comfortable and worked out well for our group. The furniture worked out well with plenty of couches, chairs, and tables. The bathrooms were very well stocked with supplies. The parking garage is convenient and the hot tub is large enough to fit a large group. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because the kitchen could use a little upgrade. One of the knobs on the cooktop was broken making one of the burners useless thus making cooking a little more difficult. Some of the pans should be replaced but overall the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cleaning supplies. I would definitely stay in this condo again.

Rude owner/manage company not onsite like other units

There is obvious tension with this owner and the on-site manage company who manages all the other unit but this one. One of the stove knobs missing (can’t use it) large brown rust stains on bottom of toilet and only 2 towels per Bathroom for 6 days. The inside unit is dated. We stayed over Christmas and hired a company to deliver and pick up a Christmas tree. The owner was aware prior and then they were rude to the company and difficult to work with. I left a jacket hanging up and the owner would not get back to me (she lives out of state) and then 3 days later I text her again to get my expensive jacket bc she didn’t reply the day we left and then she replied the house keeper is too busy cleaning red wine on the wall. I ask her to send me a picture bc this is not true and she still hasn’t replied. The beds are old and squeaky. This unit has a great location but not worth the rudeness and no one to help you once you arrive.

Comfortable Central Location

Neat, clean, comfortable condo in a 70's era building. Pool and Hot tub are top notch. For skiers, there is an elevator 30 yards from the front door to the Gondola Plaza in the neighboring building. Fantastic deli and wine shop across the street, as well as a nice cafe and brew pub. The transport center is a short walk if one wants to take the bus into town. Given the price point and location, it would be very hard to find something similar

Wonderful!

This 4-bedroom floor plan was perfect for this family with 3 teenagers, and the location was great! The gondola 🚠 was a short walk from the condo and close to the bus stop to catch the bus into town. We used city transportation and didn’t need a car at all. The condo owner was very accommodating and responsive, and her local maintenance point of contact was excellent and very responsive to all of our questions, as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Steamboat Spring Skiing

This property is perfect for 6-8 adults. The location is great, located about as close to the gondola and Ski Time Square as you can get. We have been to Steamboat 5 times, and this property/location is our favorite. The owner was great to work with and very responsive. I definitely recommend.

Perfect Location

Traveled to Steamboat from Denver for a quick ski weekend and this property was perfect. Great location, you can basically see the gondola from the unit. Check-in instructions were easy to understand and Ronnie was super communicative. Will definitely be back!

Mardi Gras vacation

This property was perfect for two Louisiana families on Mardi Gras vacation. It’s close to gondola square so everything was convenient from rental equipment to getting to the slopes daily. It’s also close to the shuttle so renting a car is not necessary. I highly recommend this property and if we return to steamboat, I plan on staying at this property. Dr Grimball

The incredible snow and challenging runs right outside the door of the condo are not to be missed. If one likes to ski, there is no better place to be. The closeness of the condo to the slopes cannot be beat.It is mere steps to the kids' ski school and to the gondola across a heated drive.There is a game system that can be set up for the children. In summer, the surrounding loveliness of the Colorado mountains hold everything one might want. Every outdoor activity which can be imagined is available.
