"THE CALLING LOON". A sunny 5 bedroom, 2 bath house on Crystal Lake! Sleeps 9.
THE CALLING LOON on Crystal Lake in Harrison, Maine.
Grill must be kept away from the house, and cannot be moved up onto the deck.
No outside fires (this includes hibachi, chimnea, fire pits, or camp fires)
In winter: All Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive required to get up the driveway.
For Snowmobiling: ITS 89 runs across Crystal lake.
Come stay for a friend weekend, a leaf peeping trip, or skiing in nearby Bridgton. A great location to stay for a wedding.
Stay near the Deertrees Theater, a 5 minute drive.
Interesting local hiking.
35 minutes drive to the Fryeburg Fair.
The dock and swim float are coming out for the winter during the last week of October(2025).
WINTER-House is open all winter long, the driveway is plowed and sanded. *4-wheel drive or all wheel drive* is required to navigate the hill to our beautiful, private location.
Fishing: Crystal Lake is stocked annually with LL salmon and Brook trout. Check the Maine fish stocking report for other local lakes. Interesting local hiking.
**Linens are provided and included in the cost. Bath, hand, face cloths, bathmat, kitchen hand and dish towels, sheets, pillow cases, comforters, blankets, throws.**

*NO PETS*
Large 3 floor, lakefront house, with a private dock and 8x8 float on beautiful Crystal Lake. The house is located in a quiet cove, with use of dock and swim float, 4 kayaks and a peddle boat. Spacious and sunny living/dining room, walk out to upper deck. Lower screened porch with unobstructed views of the lake. All bedrooms have large closets and small-medium sized dressers-plenty of storage. Gas grill and life vests (3 youth, 5 adult). In summer, paddle over to the town beach for additional amenities, short walk to local ice cream shop.
June-August(5 night min. preferred).
Fishing: Lake stocked annually.
North Conway/Story Land (Glen, NH) ~ 1 hour away
In Spring: Dock will be in early May.
In Summer: Local hiking at Ponicherry Park and Plesant Mountain.
Less than 1 hour to Story Land and the North Conway area.
In Fall: Fryeberg Fair - 30 minutes, leaf peeping

The house is near grocery stores, a gas station, multiple restaurants, two local pizza shops and a local boutique bar. In the summer the ice cream shop is open in the center of Harrison.
