The hosts were amazing and very accommodating. The neighbors were also all very friendly and helpful. The home itself is beautiful with lots of room and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. The backyard is perfect for making sled trails in the snow, our kids had a blast. There are also so many games at the house we hardly had to dig into what we brought. Couldn't have asked for a better winter getaway, would definitely recommend this home and hosts to anyone going to Tahoe.
Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in the Tahoe area. It’s a bit off the beaten path which made for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Fallen Leaf Lake is a short walk down the block which is another beautiful lake and an added bonus. The home was clean, spacious, and well equipped with cookware. The hosts are great at communicating.
Me and my sisters family went up for ski week and had a blast. The cabin is beautiful and it snowed everyday which made it so much more magical. I loved the friendliness of the community and responsiveness of our host it was one of our best vacations.
Gorgeous location. Wonderful, well appointed house. Plenty of room for 9 women. Walk out the front door for hiking, short car ride to everything else. We will be back!
Our nephew purchased a home in the neighborhood. Our extended family arranged a house warming party to celebrate this milestone. This house was within walking distance and comfortably accommodated our family.

Rent This Cabin If Available
This was a great cabin. You will have enough room for a large group, we had 11 and if was more than enough room. The kitchen is amazing!!! No need to eat out. It is about 20 minutes from the casinos. The view from the house is amazing. This is a 5 Star property

Thank you Louis, Happy to hear the place really met your expectations and your family enjoyed your stay.
Overall amazing place to stay for family fun. Easy to get a hold of owner/manager. We did have to deal with a couple issues which is to be expected when it snows 4’. The neighbors and neighborhood was great. I think his name was Don, but he helps out with the place and lives next door. He was very helpful. We look forward to coming back.
This was a perfect fit for our family of 9. Great outside space, plenty of gathering space inside for everyone to be together. And a second family room downstairs. Kitchen is well equipped and had room for all of us to cook and clean up together. And had a visit from a young bear on the last day. The only downfall was that the quality of the mattresses could have been better.
This home is a great place to stay if you are looking to be away from the hustle and bustle and traffic in South Lake Tahoe. It is easy to get to the grocery store nearby, and not a far drive to get into the Heavenly area if you are looking to go there. It is in a great neighborhood, close to Fallen Leaf Lake and a quick drive to Camp Richardson via back roads. The kitchen/dining room/family room are nice and spacious. All the rooms have queen size beds or queen size bunk beds with ample room and closet space. One convenience that I really appreciated was the washer and dryer were on the main living floor. The owners are great! They were very responsive and easy to communicate with through the reservation process. We will definitely be staying there again!
Great space for our family. Pleanty of room for us and our adult kids. Our family loved the location as it was near hiking and a quiet home but still close to activities in SLT. Very clean home, driveway was shoveled before we arrived and the heat had been turned on as well. The neighbor looks after the place and got it prepped nicely. The garage parking was a big plus considering the weather. Shannon and Rebecca were great communicators. A storm hit the day of our arrival and they were able to move our booking coordinating with the cleaner to adjust their schedule. Considering it was a holiday we really appreciated the flexibility. I know this wouldn't have been possible if they had another booking, but not all hosts would make the effort so close to arrival. There had been some power outages before our arrival so the hosts warned of the potential and had flashlights on hand. The beds are quite firm, be prepared. Also the couch is warn, but not surprisingly considering it is a vacation home. Extra blankets for the cold weather. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, serving stuff, and plates. Washer and dryer worked well as did the jetted tub in the primary. The fireplaces weren't working during our stay, although this could have been user error. It wasn't a significant issue for us.

Property was clean and welcoming! It was an experience like none other!!!!
The house was so welcoming, no detail was missing and all needs were addressed. Steve was very detailed on entrance and exit criteria for his porperty. It accommodated my whole family and created memories that will last a lifetime. Steve was very responsive and understanding. The back yard had decent snow coverage that we were able to use the hill for sledding! This was so much fun for me and my children. Steve was easy to work with and easily accessible as needed during our stay. This home is located in an ideal location for Tahoe, close enough to amenities but far enough to hear the quite woods and animal life around. Neighbors were welcoming and willing to lend a hand as needed. We will look forward to staying here again, with this experience we may have started a tradition in my family!! Thank you Steve for being so welcoming and allowing us to stay at your property!

Thank you for the kind words Pablo. I'm really glad you and your family enjoyed your stay at our home. With all of the snow this year, it sounds like you were able to venture out at really take in how beautiful the different areas of Tahoe are. We are looking forward to having you again.
We have been staying in Tahoe for many years. This is the best home we have found! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, incredible floor plan and views. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back again!
From the house to the hills in the back for sledding we had an amazing time staying here. The property was just as described and had plenty of little extras. We have never stayed at a house that had such a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of plates and utensils along with all the pot and pans you could need!
Our contacts were very helpful and very responsive, the property manager was incredible as well!
If traveling with infants/toddlers I would recommend bringing a baby gate for the stairs.
We would love to stay again!
The house was well laid out, spacious and comfortable for three families with kids. The location was peaceful and removed, and yet accessible to the commercial areas of South Lake Tahoe. Very importantly, the host was responsive and accommodating, which we all really appreciated given the snow storm that coincided with our visit. I would definitely recommend this property.
This property was amazing. Loved it. Lots of space for everyone. Kitchen has everything you need. Communication with host was super easy and they were always available to help answer any questions we had. We will be back!
We were so pleased with our stay at this lovely vacation home near Fallen Leaf Lake. The location is within very close proximity to South Lake Tahoe and tons of hiking trails and fun. The house was well equipped, clean and maintained, and comfortable. The large windows make for the perfect view of enjoying the forest.
The owners were very communicative, friendly, and responsive. We highly recommend! Thank you!!
House was fantastic! The backyard is the National Forest. Close proximity to Lake Tahoe, hikes, golf, & town. Shannon was great to work with. Would definitely recommend and book again.
Loved the location near Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe. We all loved taking hikes right from the backyard through the forest, and managed to play tball in the backyard and ride scooters in the front driveway. Loved eating on the back deck for many meals. So nice to have such a large, flat lot in the Tahoe area!
Check-in was super easy, and it was nice that the property manager was across the street. When we had issues, he and/or the owners were very responsive! House was beautiful with fully stocked kitchen, views into the forest, and sitting rooms upstairs and downstairs for the family to relax and watch television. No smart TV, though, and we had some issues with the upstairs television the first two days, but eventually got it up and working with help from the manager. The couches in the living room were not our favorite and gave several of us back pain because they are so deep and soft (and dirty when we lifted cushions to search for kids toys). The kids loved the huge queen-sized bunk beds. My parents slept in the master bedroom and said it would have been nice to have some curtains in the morning as it got very bright.
We would definitely stay here again, though! Thanks for a wonderful stay and working so hard when we had issues.
