The comforts of this newly upgraded 3 bedroom + Loft, 2 1/2 bathroom home offer a place to plan your next day’s trail run or bike ride, trip to Sierra at Tahoe, Heavenly Ski Resort, or Kirkwood, hike in the woods, golf at the 3 nearby golf courses, or to just relax in beautiful South Tahoe.

Enjoy waking up to 360 degree mountain views, watch a movie on the living room TV or gaming in the game room/loft, barbecue outside or make S’mores, go fishing at the nearby Sawmill pond or in the 3+ nearby lakes, explore the giant boulders and nature all around. Drive to Eagle Falls and spend the day swimming in waterfalls. Enjoy EVERYTHING that Tahoe has to offer with the comfort of this beautiful home base. The maximum number of people allowed in the home is as follows: 6 (children 6 and under do not count towards the 6).

This split-level, 2-story recently renovated home will feel like your private adventure hideaway. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it is prime for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter, and ideal for hiking, biking, kayaking or floating the river and Lakes in the warmer weather.

The bottom level of the home has 1 Master Suite with walk in closet, master bath and beautiful mountain views. The lower level also hosts the living room which has an HDTV, Blu-Ray player with streaming capability, many movies, and a very comfortable living area to spend family time together. The dining table seats 8. The granite countertop kitchen has a gas stove with in counter raising vent fan, breakfast bar with barstools, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stainless steel coffee maker, electric tea kettle and toaster, popcorn air popper, blender, S’mores utensils, and more. The kitchen is supplied with cooking basics.

The laundry room with washer and dryer for your use is located downstairs next to the half bathroom.

Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a loft/game room. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other is ideal for the kids with 1 twin loft bed over a queen bed, and there are items for families with babies as well. Both rooms share the full hall bathroom with shower/tub combo and double sink. The loft has a queen sized pull out couch, desk, books, Blu-Ray player with streaming capabilities, and several movies for kids, play tent for kids, as well as board games and puzzles for the whole family.

The back patio has a new gas BBQ a table for ten and mountain views all around.

The maximum number of vehicles allowed at this home at any time is 3: 1 in the garage, and 2 in the driveway.

This is not a party rental house, it is ideal for families or those looking to enjoy a relaxing, fun getaway. We respect the year round neighbors who make Tahoe their permanent residence and it is imperative that our renters will too!

Surveillance cameras are used outside of the premises only to protect guests and hosts property.

This is our second home and we hope you enjoy it as your own. We have taken care to provide the essentials that you will need to come, relax and savor everything that Tahoe has to offer.

Please place all TRASH in the bear boxes by the driveway and all RECYCLING in the blue bin in the garage. Our county will not accept recycling in any bags, so please empty bags into the bin.
Please make sure you take all of your belongings and leave the garage remote by the entrance and take a card for your next stay!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Upon cancelation, the refund will be issued less processing fees incurred through the vrbo payment processing site.
Please note the property has ring outdoor security camera in front of the house for security purposes when house is unoccupied. Quiet hrs 10pm-8am

This was the perfect house for our family ski trip. The layout gave the six of us plenty of room to spread out but also cozy enough for movie nights after a long day on the slopes. The house was modern, well kept, very clean, and stocked with everything you’ll need. The location was central to both Heavenly ski resort (and South Lake Tahoe for apres ski) and Sierra At Tahoe. Overall, a great place to stay.

This home was inviting and comfortable with the owners responsive and adding those small details to make it feel like our second home. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but a quick 15min to thr center of action in S Lake Tahoe. I would recommend this place for any family looking to stay in the area.

Great place for a ski getaway

We had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owners are especially thoughtful about providing little extras in supplies that might be needed. We had just a slight delay in getting the door code to work, but that was resolved super quickly.

Thanksgiving Family getaway

Perfect for Families

If you are visiting Tahoe with young children, this is the place for you!! Our 3 year old and 1 year old had so much fun with all the toys. It was a total bonus that they had a high chair, too. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the gadgets you could ever need. Kendra and Kevin are great hosts who responded to all of our messages within minutes - it is clear they take pride in their ownership of this property. We felt like we were staying at a family member’s home, not a rental property. Would stay again!

Amazing Home!

This home was big and beautiful with enough space for the entire family! The outside was gorgeous, our family was able to take pictures right outside, and sitting outside on the back porch in the evening made a relaxing end to some great days. The kitchen was spacious with many great accommodations, and the dishwasher made cleanup after meals super easy. The extra family game room upstairs really came in handy when in came to entertaining our youngest. Additionally, the movies and Netflix in the downstairs living room made us feel right at home, as if we were having a family movie night. Overall, the home we stayed in really enriched our entire experience overall.

Our family vacationed in this cabin with another family. It was an amazing cabin! The owner was very helpful, the cabin was very clean and well kept. We were amazed at how well stocked the place was and how many "extras" the owner had on hand. For example, inner tubes, sand toys, well stocked first aid kit, dvds, board games, etc. It was also VERY comfortable! We had kids with us and it was so nice to have the loft space where they could relax and watch a movie and the adults could hang out downstairs and watch their own movie if we chose to. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The cabin had lots of seating for eating as well as lounging. Our overall experience was one of excellence and we would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone!! Definitely coming back!

Thank you Kendra and Kevin for such a relaxing, fun and special time while staying at your beautiful vacation home! The cabin was so cozy and clean. The sofas were so comfortable, and the king bed in the master bedroom gave us a restful night’s sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked and a cook’s dream! It was enjoyable preparing meals in it, and the large open area in the living room and kitchen encouraged great conversations. We so enjoyed the games and movies provided as well as the raft and inner tunes for the lake. We had an amazing time at Pope Beach, Fallen Leaf Lake, and Glen Alpine Falls. We wanted to see Eagle Falls, but we ran out of time. We’ll have to plan on visiting another time and staying at your lovely place. Thanks again for everything! Judy & Anthony

Beautiful South Lake Tahoe home with all the comforts of home!

We had a wonderful time on our recent trip! When they say this house is fully equipped, they aren't kidding! They had a fully equipped kitchen with just about everything you would have at home in your own kitchen! They even had sleds in the garage! This worked out perfectly because it was snowing when we got there and we were able to go right outside and play with the kids and go sledding in the front yard! The location was awesome with beautiful mountain views all around the house. It was close to downtown, and only took about 10-15 minutes to get there. The beds were very comfy and had nice linens with plenty of extra blankets if needed. The bathrooms were very nice as well and had nice plush towels. Showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, there was even a hair dryer. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay very welcoming and make you feel like you're at your home away from home! They had lots of board games to play, as well as plenty of family movies. We will definitely be back to this home!

Great Neighborhood

We had a great time staying at this property. We really enjoyed the neighborhood because it was very quiet, but less than a five minute drive to the Y where there’s some great restaurants and bars, plus only about a 10 minute drive to Camp Richardson/the Beacon. Growing up my family had a home in this neighborhood, and I love it. The house was clean, and spacious. Owners were very easy to communicate with and replied quickly. The listing is very accurate. If I had to make one “complaint” or a recommendation for future travelers, I would suggest if you can, bring your own pillow. The beds were fine, pillows not so much. But again this isn’t even close to a deal breaker for such an awesome property!

Gorgeous and clean

This was a very enjoyable stay in a nicely kept, well-stocked home. You can tell Kendra and Kevin are very organized and put a lot of thought in making the stay as enjoyable as possible for their guests. We had our 95-year parents stay in the master bedroom downstairs, and it was very convenient for them with minimum number of stairs to get into the house.

Great home in a great location

My family and I were able to experience Tahoe for the first time, and are so glad we found this home to stay during our trip. There were 6 of us, and the home fit all of us comfortably. We loved having the kitchen to make big family breakfasts in the morning before exploring more of what South Tahoe has to offer. They provided a lot of great information on where to go, good restaurants, hidden gems in the area, etc. My wife and I woke up early one morning and hiked around Fallen Leaf Lake, which was one of our favorite parts of the trip! Also, we went to Emerald Bay which is a must if you’ve never been before. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and hope to come back one day!

Excellent summer stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at this vacation rental. The location was perfect - close to downtown shops and the lake as well as Camp Richardson but far enough from the town so that evenings were quiet. The home was well furnished with all the amenities one would need. While it was hot during the week we stayed, the home was well insulated and comfortable despite no AC. Communications with Kendra the owner was easy and she was very responsive. As promised, their cleaners were excellent and the home was very clean. Will definitely stay again!
