Perfectly positioned just a few steps from Steamboat Ski Resort, this fantastic chalet is the perfect place to call home while enjoying the frosty winter slopes! Snuggle up on the living room's spacious sofa to catch up with a good mystery novel or a movie on the TV while the fireplace warms up the room. You'll love the abundance of natural light that cascades in through grand windows to illuminate every grain of the burnished floors, and the vaulted ceilings lend to the feeling of space throughout the home. The kitchen is well-appointed with lots of fun appliances, cookware, and gadgets, and the ample counter space will make tonight's dinner really easy to assemble. Serve guests while the dishwasher makes short work of those dirty dishes. Remember to spend some time in the shared hot tub anytime you need to relax your tired muscles.

Steamboat Ski Resort is sure to fulfill the hopes of any cold-weather enthusiast, but summer visitors have plenty to look forward to as well with hikes on Fetcher Pond, Sanctuary Trail, and Yampa River Core Trail. Great location, great place!

We loved our time here this winter. You are feet from the base of the ski area, great hot tub right outside the front door, and the kitchen was really well stocked! Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Mountain Home Near Everything

The house was beautiful with lots of space for multiple families. The location was perfect! Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the gondolas to take you up the mountain for breathtaking views! A great getaway even outside of ski season!

Great house, phenomenal location

Just spent spring break here with our three kids. House is setup really well for families. Very well appointed space. Location cannot be beat - less than 5 min walk (in ski boots) to base area

We stayed with 4 families and it was perfect. We loved the location. You could ski in, but was a little short walk to the gondola to start the day. The unit was equipped well and great for what we needed! Would definitely book this place again.

The house was great! The location was amazing! Sleeping arrangements were VERY tight for 11 people and the beds were not as described. Vacasa brought us an extra air mattress to accommodate.

The location was unbeatable for ski in ski out. Super convenient. Good amenities. True as advertised. Loved steamboat, loved this place. If forced to make a complaint, I would only say that the bedrooms need better lighting. A+ recommend and would book again.

This is the best place ever

I had the best time at Ironwood 16. This condo is incredible. Besides being spacious and beautiful, this condo is extremely comfortable. The proximity to the base of the mountain makes it feel like you’re in a ski-in/ski-out room at a hotel. This was my first time seeing snow/going to a ski resort and all future ski trips will be held to this standard.

No A/C

Steamboat Springs is a beautiful place and the unit is nicely located on the lower part of the mountain. The reason for the low rating is due to the add not clearly stating that the unit has no A/C. When we arrived at night, after driving for 3 days, we learned after speaking with a rep for Vacasa that the unit did not have A/C. The temp of the unit was close to 84 degrees with 2 fans to help cool a three level condo. The master bedroom sits on the third floor and it is the hottest room in the unit even at night. I requested for a manager to call me back as we were not going to stay in the unit with the high temperature. Our concern was never addressed. I never received a call back from the manager although I was told a member of the management team would be calling me back the following morning. We decided to make the best of it and enjoy the beautiful town. I will not rent a property through Vacasa again.

Nice property

Great location and very well maintained property. Smooth check in and check out, the management company was very friendly. One note on the house is, the master bedroom is located on the top floor, because there is no AC in the house, so it gets very warm in the evening. Other than that everything was perfect!

Slope side Mountain Luxe

This villa is absolutely stunning. So much room to spread out on all the levels. You must be okay with stairs to stay here but if you are, you are in for a treat. Immaculately clean with very comfortable beds, two if my most important qualifications! And the location to the slopes is a five minute walk. We hope to book this place again during ski season! Ideal with kids.
