White Spar Cottages Near Whiskey Row, Prescott Courthouse. Large Parking Area.

In the front of the property is the completely renovated 1935 cottage on a large lot with plenty of room to park. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, A/C and heat, leather couch, free WiFi, 2 flat screen tvs with Direct TV, queen bed , twin day bed, with twin trundle. Please take the time to read the rules about our check in time. The following items are available: chimenea, 4 bikes (if available during your stay), toys, and games. Property has it's own gas grille. A Safeway grocery store right across the street! Eight tenths of a mile from the famous Whiskey Row with bars like the Bird Cage, Matts Saloon and Jersey Lillys Saloon just to name a few. Prescott Courthouse Plaza that host events like: arts and crafts shows, summer concert series along with street dances, 4th of July Parade celebrating the worlds oldest rodeo, Christmas Courthouse Lighting, Christmas Parade, Ackner Music Night just to name a few. You are 10 minute drive from the Prescott National Forest, Goldwater and Lynx Lakes, Lynx Creek Ruins and many hiking and biking trails. It is IMPORTANT that before you book please read the rules about our check in time.
This unit is on the same property with another vacation rental and there could be other guests staying there during your stay. The property is 3/4 of a acre so there is plenty of room.

We require check in close to our required time 3PM and no later than 6PM or close to it. This is a gated property and hard to navigate in the dark.
Any excessive filth, blood, etc will be surcharged for extra cleaning. We try to keep the cleaning fee low for our guests. Thanks.

Plenty of room for my family of four. The place was spotless, and at a great location. Large property around the cottage. Close to Whiskey Row, and a supermarket right across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Prescott!

The property is just like the photos on the site. It is convenient to downtown Prescott, well stocked with the essentials and very clean. Peggy and Rich were awesome hosts and answered all our questions in a timely matter. We are a family of three and were very comfortable here. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it if you are looking for a great place in Prescott.

Awesome Owners & Location

My daughters (17 and 13) and I had an amazing time at this place. Perfect size for the 3 of us and could have fit 4 easily. Safe place to stay off the main road and gate to parking and house. Owners met us when we arrived and showed us around the property. They’ve done an HH amazing job renovating 2 homes built 70+ years ago. Highly recommend this stay!

Very comfortable home

This home is adorable and cheerfully decorated. Although it is small, you don't feel cramped. There is a full kitchen and laundry room. They thought of everything!

Very clean, owners were fantastic at communicating :) the a/c worked but the second bedroom it didn’t reach so it was warm and it was 95 when we stayed. The WiFi wasn’t great it kept going in and out. Clean and great location but without a/c in one bedroom it was hot.

Fantastic property

This is a fantastic property. We came in for the NYE celebration downtown. Very comfortable, quiet, and charming. Communication was awesome. Very easy check in and out process. Has plenty of extras, only two minute drive from downtown. If this is available, it’s a must rent! Already looking at staying again next year!

Wonderful location for our Prescott visit

Peggy and Rich were awesome hosts, super friendly and kind. The cottage had everything we needed to make meals and feel right at home. We took advantage of the gas grill to cookout and the awesome chiminea to build a fire a roast marshmallows. There were even jump ropes and bikes for the kids to enjoy. It would have been nice if there was a DVD player or way to stream a movie. All in all we had a great time and would love to stay here again!

Loved the property. Apparently we were supposed to be there no later than 3:00 pm. Being tourists we had a rental car that broke down and had to go back to Phoenix to get a new rental. We were several hours late. I am a confident 73 year old and he even intimated him. We went out and bought paper dishes and cutlery so we wouldn't have to use his kitchen wear. The washer had only very hot water for everything. We were so constantly aware of trying to follow his rules that it sort of made our time there rather sad. Would I go there again? Absolutely but I would suggest that someone other than him greet the guests.

We are sorry you had a difficult time. You were more than welcome to use everything in the cottage! The washer has hot warm and cold settings and I’m not sure why you only had hot water. We checked the washer and all three temps worked. My apologies. Our rules are simple and are in place so that our cottages stay the way they are for the next guests. It’s a gated large property and we must meet our guests to let them in. Once in, you’d have the fob for the gate to come and go as you please. Our times are clearly stated and if there was better communication, we would have been able to make other arrangements for the late check in. If you choose to stay again, we hope your stay will be better.

Great holiday stay

Rich and Peggy Roberts have been married for 42 years, we have 2 daughters, I am a retired Phoenix Fire Captain and run Action Auto Racing, love off road and camping. We live 5 minutes away from our cottage and can easily accommodate any reasonable requests. I am positive once you see our little jem you will see and appreciate all the hard work and love we put into this place to provide a positive experience and stay! We had reviews with Evolve and recently switched to VRBO so that’s why we don’t have reviews yet. I had our last client that went through Evolve send my review by email that They can share with you upon request .

Why they chose this property

Everything you need is here, just like you never left your home. Close to the historic Prescott Courthouse and Whiskey Row. Close to hiking, and the National Forest, lakes. You can go on Evolve and look up our other White Spar #2 Cottage and see our reviews to see what kind of hosts we are!

What makes this property unique

We are very flexible on our check in Check our times as long as no one is checking in or if it needs to be cleaned. Just contact us and we will work with you! Please try and show up as close to our check in time as possible. Because this is a gated property guests need to show up before dark. If its too late you might have to wait till the next day to check in.
