The Space:
This is a cute partially renovated Chateaux unit on the 3rd floor with mountain views. The front door opens to the fully equipped galley style kitchen on your left. The condo has an open floor plan in regards to the kitchen, the dining area and living room. You will find 2 seats at the bartop and a table for 6 in the dining area. The living room boasts a wood burning fireplace with wood provided and a large smart tv with cable. The living room couch has a full size pullout bed with a new mattress for 2 additional sleepers. *** PLEASE NOTE as of 12/9/2025 the hot tub is under repair with repairs expected to be finished around mid-January 2026 and is not usable. The pool is available and kept heated during this time. Please note that all prices reflect this.***
Both bedrooms have queen sized beds and ensuite bathrooms with tub/shower combos. The primary bedroom has a smart tv with cable hookup. The Chateaux complex does have wifi throughout.
The Chateaux complex is known for its great outside pool/hot tub complex. Unfortunately no bikes are allowed inside the building/condos or on the decks of the Chateaux. The HOA will fine you $100/day for this. Please park your bikes in the racks in front of each building or leave on your car.
There is a coin operated washer and dryer on the second floor of the building. Please note that there is no elevator in the building and this condo is on the 3rd floor.
Please note that the pool/hot tub/sauna area is open seasonally. Typically it is open in season - winter season opening day to closing day and then will reopen late May or early June through Labor Day. For summer 2025 the pool will reopen for Memorial Day weekend. The pool will close after Labor Day but the hot tub will remain open for most of Sept. Please ask if this is an important piece for you!
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, except children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.

PARKING:
1. All authorized vehicles must be properly permitted by Association management prior to parking in the parking area. Permits must be appropriately displayed for easy viewing. Usual display of the permit is attachment to the inside rear view mirror.
2. Not more than two motor vehicles (cars, trucks, and vans only) shall be allowed on the property for each condo unit.
3. No motorized vehicles shall remain parked upon the property unless the same is in good working order and used for actual transportation.
4. No recreational equipment or trailers shall be parked, stored or maintained on the property by any owners, guests, or renters. Temporary parking, not to exceed four days, of such vehicles must be approved by management and be properly permitted.
5. Designated parking areas are the only areas in which parking is permitted. Vehicles parked in non-designated areas may be towed at the owner’s expense.
6. No commercial vehicles and no trucks shall be parked on any road within the Condominium Project except when temporarily engaged in transport to or from a condominium unit. For the purpose of this Rule, a ¾ - ton or smaller vehicle, commonly known as a pickup truck, shall not be deemed to be a commercial vehicle or truck. The exception to this rule is an emergency vehicle meeting the following criteria:
a) Any unit owner required by his or her employer to have an emergency vehicle at his or her residence during designated times AND
b) The vehicle weighs ten thousand pounds or less;
c) The unit owner is a member of a volunteer fire department or an emergency service provider*;
d) The vehicle has an official emblem or visible markings of an emergency service provider; and
e) Parking the vehicle will not obstruct emergency access or interfere with the reasonable needs of the other residents to use the community’s drives and parking.

The Neighborhood:
The Chateaux is about mid-way up Mt. Crested Butte and about a 7 minute walk to the base area.
Getting Around:
There is a shuttle that runs through the parking lot that will pick up guests and take them to the base area. From the base area you can get on the Town Shuttle which will take you to the town of Crested Butte.

We stayed here for our annual ski trip to crested butte. It was a great location. The condo was clean and a perfect size for the 4 of us. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful condo with great views. Checkin process was an email with all of the necessary info we needed to get in. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals.
We spent a week here and a had a great time. Getting to ski slopes was either a short walk or a quick ride on the shuttle. to town and back was also an easy shuttle ride.
The condo had everything we needed. It was great sitting on the balcony and looking at Mt. Crested Butte!
Hiking was close by and the drive down the hill takes only minutes.
We really liked this place. It had everything we needed. The only kinda problem for light sleepers is that the shuttle and road traffic can be a little loud during the summer when you need to sleep with the windows open. Fans in the room would really help to cool down the rooms ahead of time and then could sleep with the windows open.

We had stayed at The Chateau before and like then it was great. Very clean, well equipped kitchen for cooking ,sauna and hot tub were nice! The shuttle stop was close which is really convenient! All in all a great time!
We had a great stay and felt really comfortable in this unit. The space was very clean and spacious, and it was such a treat to watch the fireworks from the balcony—definitely a highlight!If I could make a couple of suggestions, it would be to include a few more cooking essentials like oil, vinegar, and maybe some basic coffee condiments like sugar. An upgrade in the bathroom essentials would’ve been nice too, though that might just be a personal preference.Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you for hosting us!
This condo was the perfect place for our first trip to Crested Butte where we took in the annual Wild Flower Festival. It was the right size for the 3 of us (grandparents and our granddaughter). It was very tidy with more than enough towels, etc. The kitchen was fully equipped and having access to a pool was perfect. Check-in was easy. Our host contacted us, too, to make sure everything was ok. I recommend this property without reservation.
Loved the condo once I was settled. I may have missed the notes that only stair access. Loved the view from the balcony. It would be nice to have a humidifier in the unit. Nice stay in CB!
We really enjoyed staying at this condo in Mount Crested Butte. It provided great access to the slopes with a shuttle stop about 50 feet from the entrance. The outdoor pool was wonderful--staring at the constellations from the hot tub after a day on the slopes was pretty great. The furniture and beds were all comfortable and it was very reasonably priced. There were a couple of minor issues that came up during our stay but the property managers were very responsive and hospitable. They took care of everything with timeliness and courtesy. We highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again.
