Property looks nothing like online pictures. Rugs dirty, couch old and dirty and outside property had garbage and dog poop in yard. Then an issue of property management not paying utility bill and they shut electric off.

Sorry folks. This guest is not an honest guest that deserves a rebuttal.
Comfy place in great location near South Lake Tahoe
It was the two of us, plus our two dogs. The property was great - more space than we needed for sure, as two bedrooms went unused. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck in the evenings. Kitchen had all the utensils, dishes, pots/pans we needed. There's a little side yard off the deck so we were able to leave the back door open for the pups to come and go. Make sure to clean up your dog's poop! Also, for future renters, the trash goes in the bear bins, not in the trash cans in the side yard - previous renters had put their trash there, which creatures got into and we had to clean up (7 bags!).
We have two boys (ages 3 and 5) who love to play in the snow. Coming up here was fantastic since we lucked out with the weather. There was a bit of a slope in the yard that we were able to use for sledding, and then when there was a fresh dusting of snow we were able to sled down the quiet street. The front yard was great for snow angels, making a snowman, and rolling around and playing. The hot tub also saw use one afternoon to just relax.
The place was nice and clean, and it seemed like the owner/managers take good care of it. The towels are a bit small, so you may want to bring your own if you prefer larger ones.
This cabin was great for a group of 5. Plenty of space to sleep, good location, appropriately priced. The kitchen could be better stocked with some Tupperware/storage for meals, and the dishwasher is sort of small (but at least it has one). The hot tub was grea and the grill was nice. A drawback: there were some electrical gremlins that need to be addressed. Lights would flicker, outlets would stop working, and I had to go flip all the breakers to get the heater working. Probably need to get an electrician in there to address these issues. The cabin was clean and would be nice to stay at, but the electrical issues preclude a higher rating.
We had a very comfortable stay here, June 2023. It's well worn but clean and cozy. There were just two of us so lots of space. Sitting out on the deck or in the jacuzzi with a view of the mountains, across the field with the creek flowing, listening to the osprey call, was very peaceful. The host was very quick to respond to texts, just minutes. The upstairs can get warm so we had to plan ahead; keep the windows open all day, turn the fans on in the early afternoon to make sleeping comfortable. It would help to have a ceiling fan above the bed there. We could have slept downstairs but found the mattress too soft for our comfort. It was nice to have a choice. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Would never stay again
The location was good, the deck was nice and the spa was clean. That is where the positives ended for us. The cleanliness of the house was definitely not great. Upon entry, we were met with a horrible smell. As we walked upstairs, it was very apparent the smell was coming from pet urine in the carpets. The upstairs sofa bed was completely broken and with a metal piece that was sticking out of the side. There were literally spiders everywhere. We found them in bathroom garbage cans, beds, and just walking around. We probably killed 10. It was very gross.
During our stay there was snow right in the back yard there access to an awesome sled hill! The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed frames could be updated. However We had a great family trip.
Check in process was great! I would definitely stay here again! Kitchen is not fully stocked though so be prepared to bring some stuff. Check out was easy as well. Location is awesome, about 10-15 away from anywhere you want to go.
Comfortable place. Kitchen is well stocked. Good supply of linens and sheets. Nice view from the deck. A few things need attention—one downstairs bed needs to be replaced, fan in one bathroom was not working: we had difficulty getting the front door to lock properly.
The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful sunset views off the back deck. Plenty of parking and space to store bikes. Neighbors are far away and plenty of space for the kids to play. The house was modern and clean and very spacious for kids to play. The master bedroom was huge! A nice desk if you want to get a little work done and the bed was really comfortable! Great place for a family to get away and relax!
We had a fantastic experience! Home was as described. Comfortable beds, easy check in process, no issues. Quick drive to all the fun things to do in Tahoe.
