This relaxing 2-story townhome sits right on the Laguna Madre channel and directly across the street from the Laguna Madre Bay.

Casa de las Palmas features a private primary suite on the ground floor with private access to the pool and a pass-through wet bar. The guest bedroom suite on the second floor features a quaint patio. With two private bedroom suites on separate floors this home would be perfect for two couples or a family. A twin inflatable and a twin mattress stored vertically in the upstairs guest room closet provides additional sleeping options. Or combine Casa de las Palmas with Casa Laguna right next door and you can accommodate up to 18 comfortably!

The second-floor open living space includes the dining room, kitchen and living room with large comfortable seating and a deck overlooking the pool and the channel. This great property is located near the entertainment and restaurant venues on South Padre Island, so you and your guests may choose to dine-out every night. But if you want to stay in and cook, you will enjoy a kitchen that is fully-equipped. We enjoyed our time. It rained and was cold for our trip but we found things on the island to do every day. My son still enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. The Keurig was a nice surprise!

The house was just as advertised. Lovely tile work throughout. Very clean. We had a great time fishing, cooking and hanging out. Only thing that would make it better is a fish cleaning table.

Perfect for fishing access

Right on the water with super easy access to the bay. Bait ride and in the water wading in under 20 minutes. Nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a warm day on the bay. Very quiet neighborhood. Somewhat limited parking if pulling a boat and have an addition vehicle. But neighbor was cool and let us park a truck in his driveway.

My husband and I took his partents here for a quiet no children vacation that I am so greatful for. They enjoyed it so much they didn't want to leave. They are getting up there in years and I am so happy to have had the time and ability to spend it with them. The house was wonderful!

Best Place Ever

This is such a beautiful place! I never want to stay anywhere else. What a great place for catching up with my BFF while lounging in and around the private pool. It is so charming and cozy. The deck seems new and was awesome for getting sun and watching the fireworks. Rental managers were attentive and fast to respond when we needed help or a minor repair. My only complaint is that we were only able to book it for 4 nights…time went by so fast!!! We will definitely be coming back…

Perfect Fishing Getaway

Property is amazing place to stay with a pool & waterfront access with a boat slip. Group of great friends have been comping to South Padre Island on fishing trip for the last 3 years for the Ron Hoover Tournament, and this property by far was the best one we have stayed at for this trip. Rooms were spacious and the back yard with the deck over the boat slip was awesome place to hang out after a long day of fishing. We even got to watch the fireworks right from the dock with an amazing view. Check in process with Padre Getaways is super easy, we just had to pick up the keys at the main office and they gave us everything we needed from parking passes to helpful tips of places to eat ect. Highly recommend this property for families or groups of friends that love to have access to sea or water and beautiful place to stay for SPI experience !

Pool Time

The pool was the perfect size for us! Very close to the beach and great restaurants! I would stay here again. My only problem was that 1/2 the light outside weren’t working. I would have loved to have had the pool light on, but the switch to it was taped up. Hopefully they get that fixed. Overall it was a very nice condo! The best part was the friendliness of the ladies in the office that helped me book this trip and get checked in!

Great Place if you have a boat

Overall it is a great place and I would stay again. The AC worked great, the TV's were great, the home is well decorated and the pool is good. The only issue is where the management company has their office, it is in a very busy strip center and there is no parking. It took me 20 minutes of driving around the parking lot before I found a car coming out and got their spot. The people that work for the actual management company are very nice, the location is a pain.

Cool home but still a little disappointed

The booking process was great we check in on time and all is well. We get to the home and it’s very very hot inside. We noticed the Thermostat was turned up pretty high. No biggie we turned it down and went to bed all 5 of us in the downstairs room as it was the only cool room. The next day we woke up and it was still warm but not as hot as the day before. We referred to the packet again to call about it but then read “we are on a small 1/2 mile VERY humid island like nothing you have ever had before. It takes a while for the fridge and other things to get cool” so we turned the AC down and went to the beach. Came back and it was hotter than it had been. Since we were all tired and on vacation we decided to call in the morning. Once we did it was fixed promptly. I asked for some sort of credit which I never do but when paying 2200.00 for 3 nights I expected the AC to be caught during their “quality check” Another disappointing issue was the hot tub. I specifically chose this place because the pictures featured a hot tub and pool. I couldn’t wait to get in the hot tub and relax on my vacation. Well when trying to turn this on I noticed the 2 wires that powered the hot tub were purposely cut so that it can’t be used. Definitely was done a while back as I could see rust on the wires. I called management just to check to see if I was missing something and was told it doesn’t work and hasn’t in years. They said they don’t advertise a hot tub on the listing yet it’s clearly in the pictures. I think this needs to be disclosed as I wouldn’t have paid more to stay in this spot. Another issue was the mosquitoes inside of the home. This was an infestation!!! I assure you the doors were shut because we were trying to cool it off and there were mosquitoes coming from the nasty couch as well as the beds. When we sat on the couch mosquitoes and fruit flies scattered. My entire family got eaten alive. What was odd is we didn’t get bit while outdid only inside. I still haven’t heard from anyone about a credit, a sorry, nothing…. God I sound like a complainer but I assure you I’m never do so you know it hit a nerve. The home was charming and it was a really good setup. Just these issues were too much to overcome.
