Fabulous!

This is the best VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. This beautiful home was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We stayed with our daughter and her family. The 2 boys age 9 & 12 loved looking for shells, tried snorkeling and swimming in the pool. A car is needed! Round trip taxi to the restaurants/grocery is 80 for 6 people.

Birthday trip

We stayed 5 nights for my son’s birthday. My son and his father and I dived 3 days and one night dive with Dive with Cristina. She was great. We used Chef Lucy the day we arrived and the meal awesome. Casa Colorado was great. Communication with the owners was very easy. The house was clean and supplied very well.

New years Cozumel

We had stayed at Costa del Sol before and knew that we liked this area. Casa Colorado was fantastic and worked very well for our family of 5. Everything was as described. Communication from the owners and the property manager was fantastic. House was very clean. Enjoyed doing some cooking while we there there too and found the kitchen to be very well equiped. Overall, there is not a bad thing I could say about anything. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Great view, amazing amenities, exceptional staff. Our group included myself (54) and children (23, two 19 year olds and a 17 year old). You could not ask for anything more as far as the property goes - the house provided perfect accommodations for us with a beautiful pool and beach. You can be picked up right from the dock for excursions and it is located very close to botanical gardens, dolphin discovery and national park. The kids loved walking around downtown and shopping and visiting restaurants/bars. We went to the grocery store (which is a ways away) and loaded up on groceries the first day to have available at the condo. We give it five stars because it suited exactly what we were looking for - I stayed at the condo for most of our week’s time there just enjoying the beautiful views at the pool and beach and the kids had the option of visiting the sites while feeling safe with communication with Rufo and Alex who provided good info on places to visit and rides to and from.

The hoast was great! Very responsive to questions and requests. This place is secluded from all the hustle and bustle of down town, making it great to relax and wnjoy the ocean and local pool.

Incredible communication, wonderful property. The house was clean and felt very safe for my family. The view from the balcony was great, and it's a short walk to the pool and beach. The next time we're in Cozumel, this will be our first stop when looking for places to stay.

Well Stocked, Clean home in Paradise

Casa Colorado was lovely, the house was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked (although I never cooked a meal) The bed was comfy (Avalanche room) They have Alexa's around the home and we like listening to music so this was a big plus for us, good wifi, there was good TV if you would have the time to watch (news/movie channels) Alex the property manager was great he was communicative, helpful and on time. He met us at the house when we arrived and went through how to work things in the house. The main downside for us is the 3 stories (which we knew when booking and obviously no fault of the house) so we didn't end up sleeping in the master which is on the top floor (3rd), but we were very comfortable in the room we stayed on the 2nd floor. The thermostat is locked, so guests are unable to adjust the temperature, however we were VERY comfortable in the house and it was no issue. There is a lot of technology around the house and we loved all the charging ports, Alexa's, speakers, TV's, etc. and there are numerous security cameras on the outside of the house, including one on the patio. I love that there is security but felt it a bit much and we didn't love that there was one on the patio where we liked to hang out at times. Corey provided a great welcome book with loads of information as well prior to our arrival. We would rent Casa Colorado again and now we are fully aware of what to expect. Thank you Corey for sharing your lovely home with us!

Wonderful!

Casa Colorado was WONDERFUL! Plenty of comfy couches, very well stocked kitchen, a bathroom with every bedroom. We loved the pool, swam in the ocean, watched the sunset from the beach. We ate dinner - and breakfast on a different day - at the Money Bar, which was great. We would absolutely come again.

Amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We were picked on the pier by our scuba boat and spend the afternoons at the pool. There were a few rainy days, and we loved watching the rain from the upstairs balcony and watching movies on the projector. The kitchen had everything we needed for our family dinners. We loved this place so much and hope to return one day!

Fantastic Rental

Two friends and myself visited Casa Colorado for a dive trip. It was one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in in regards to quality and inventory. Having a stocked kitchen was extremely helpful with cooking in and we were a 10 minute taxi drive away from restaurants for eating out. Excellent location and set up for diving. We are already planning our return! Thank you!

Paradise!!!!

This little beachfront community is paradise at it's finest and I don't foresee my family and I ever staying anywhere other than Costa del Sol when we visit Cozumel. We love having a beach and pool just steps away that aren't crowded, no matter what time of day you go. And I love the shallow pool for my little one, he could not get enough of it. The house was perfect for our family. We wanted something that was really close to the beach and pool but not right out the front door since we have a toddler that loves to swim. We didn't want him to be able to walk right out the door and into the water but wanted to be able to go as often as we wanted without any inconvenience. Having the house set back just a bit from the water's edge with a few homes in front of it was perfect for us. You still get great views of the water and sunsets from the upper floor of the house and don't miss a thing! The house was clean and well-kept. It was obvious the owners had recently done work to update the home and working really hard to make sure it is a great place for their guests. Corie and Jason were excellent about booking, even when we changed our dates, and happy to answer any questions we had very quickly and very thoroughly. They provided us with a ton of useful information prior to our arrival and we used all of it - best place to convert money, a phone numbers for a shuttle driver to get us from the Cancun airport to the ferry, phone numbers for taxi drivers that they trusted. Alex, the guest manager, was amazing. He contacted us prior to our arrival, gave us all the info we needed, and stayed in touch for our entire visit to make sure we were well taken care of. He even brought my starving family and I lunch to the house when we arrived and were too worn out from traveling all night to head straight to the store! The security staff on site is top notch, they are more than willing to help with anything and everything from ordering food, calling taxis, carrying luggage, and even fixing a part on the BBQ that was broken when we arrived. My kids were all trying to find a way to stay forever and never go home, so I'd say that is a sign of a great vacation! The only drawbacks were that two of the three bedrooms don't have any sort of drawers for clothes - not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and the living room has a projector that we were told was not for guest use so we couldn't watch movies as a family during downtime. Overall - FANTASTIC!

Gorgeous Getaway

We had the pleasure of spending the long weekend prior to Thanksgiving at the property as my wife competed in Ironman Cozumel. We will definitely be back with the kids in future as it offers everything we could ever want: beautiful location, comfortable and spacious accommodations, and an attentive host. The property itself is roomy, nicely appointed, and only about 50 yards from the beach/. We were pleasantly surprised to find the cupboards stocked with essentials like salt, pepper, sugar and the like which is not always a given. There were even quite a few local beers in the beverage fridge (which we left even more full than we found it). All three bedrooms have their own full baths as well as large TVs and even Amazon Alexa shows and wireless charging pads which is nice touch. I travel a lot for business and my top 4 must haves of a hotel were all met here: comfortable bed, cool a/c, hot shower (with good pressure), and fast wifi. The layout is nice although people who don't like stairs should be aware there are three floors. The walk up to the third floor master suite is well worth it as the covered balcony offers beautiful ocean views, especially at sunset. We didn't snorkel or dive on this trip (we certainly will on the next) but noticed the dock and saw plenty of dive boats and fishing boats headed out in the mornings. The amenities include a large swimming pool and a private beach area which is a bonus. While the location itself is a bit isolated it is really only a 15 drive to downtown where you can find anything you need including grocery stores (large and fully stocked) and restaurants. A huge component of VRBO is the host and Jason was nothing short of phenomenal. Our trip presented certain complications and he was extremely responsive and helpful and his recommended driver, Ruffo, was a huge help on several occasions. I would recommend this property without any reservation or hesitation.

Fabulous just fabulous…

Several friends in our family enjoyed or stay so much. We rented scooters and drive around all over the island. As for the house it was amazing and fully stocked with lots of goodies. Alex the property manager was wonderful would definitely recommend this home for anyone that’s considering staying in Cozumel, Make sure to ask Alex about the private snorkel tour.

Amazing Home & Hosts

We sent 13 days at Casa Colorado and it wasn't enough! The home is phenomenal - even better than the pictures. The hosts are amazing and instantaneously responsive. The pool and beach are a very short walk from the front door. Highly recommend!

We live in Denver Colorado and have always wanted to own a home in Cozumel. We finally made our dream come true in April of 2020. Jason grew up traveling to island since 1977 and fell in love at a young a age and made life long friends. He moved to the island when he was 18 and owned a dive shop for 2 years before returning to Colorado to attend college. His passion and love for the island never lessened and he introduced me (Corie) to Cozumel in 2010. We absolutely love the people, the ocean, the energy, the sunsets, and the food. We travel to Cozumel often and are so excited that we were finally able to purchase a home. In Denver we own a Dive Bar name the Dive Inn which is nautical themed and Cozumel inspired.

We are very knowledgeable about the island and are more than happy to share any recommendations from cheap eats to fine dining, diving, snorkeling, and fun adventures around the island off the beaten path.

Why they chose this property

We love so many places in Cozumel but we really like this location because it is located in a private community for safety, located right on the beach, has a private dock for boats so it is easy for diving and it is located close to so many beautiful reefs. There is a private pool and hot tub and the house is very spacious and comfortable. You are able to enjoy the privacy of the community outside of the touristy areas of town while still being close enough to town that you can easily enjoy all the conveniences town has to offer. The minute we saw this house we knew it was a perfect fit for us.
