About this property

Spacious and Cosy Holiday Home

Enjoy your stay in our fully self-contained and completely refurbished, warm, and cozy 3 bedroom home, which comfortably sleeps, 8 people.

Our home is in central, quiet Miro Street, between Turoa Ski field (20 min drive) and central Ohakune ( approx. 0.8km) with its New World Supermarket, ATM, pharmacy, gift shop, restaurants, perfect playgrounds, local gym, great bike shop and other shops with outdoor equipment and more.

Our open plan living and dining area are cozily heated by an efficient Masport wood burner with a fire screen. FIREWOOD IS PROVIDED.

The comfortable lounge offers SMART TV (NETFLIX, YouTube, Free-view, and more) DVD player and a stereo.

FREE UNLIMITED Wi-Fi.

The dining room seats up to 8 people.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, free-standing stove (Westinghouse) , range hood, toaster, mixer, blender, rice cooker, and much more.

There is NESPRESSO coffee machine, guests bring own coffee capsules.

TEA TOWELS and HAND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED. Essentials such as sugar, salt, tea, coffee, and much more are stocked at your disposal, feel free to use whatever you need.

The laundry/drying room is well equipped with a front door Bosch washing machine and dryer at your disposal. There are hangers for your ski gears.

There is a lovely bathroom with a toilet and another separate guest toilet.

Living quarters consist of TWO BEDROOMS with QUEEN SIZE beds and the THIRD BEDROOM with a LONG SINGLE BED and a DOUBLE/SINGLE BUNK bed. Bedrooms are independently heated with wall panel heaters for added cosines.

Hot WATER starts INSTANTLY - gas powered.

PILLOWS, DUVETS INNER, and BLANKETS - ARE PROVIDED with extra supplies available.

BRING your OWN sheets and pillowcases please.
PUT your own linen on top of existing. Please DON'T take off existing linen.


BATH TOWELS are NOT PROVIDED.

PORTABLE - BABY COT is available in the house.

This is a NON- SMOKING home.

Our private, fully fenced property is spacious for children. Easy access and space to on-site (2 cars) and street parking (unlimited).

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

We require a 50% deposit when you make a booking.

A bond of $200 is what we require.

Guests will remain responsible for claims up to the amount of our existing damage deposit but their card will only be charged if a claim is made.

PRICE IS FOR the WHOLE HOUSE (8 or fewer occupants).

WE DON'T RENT OUR HOLIDAY HOME FOR MARDI GRAS WEEKEND.

We don't keep information about keys and much more on the Vrbo site. Guests will receive all information by email.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
WE DO NOT MAKE A BOOKING FOR MARDI GRAS weekend. Tea Towels and Hand Towels are NOT ALLOWED to use for cleaning the floor and dirty shoes.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE: Wash the dishes and leave the property tidy. Close all windows and lock the doors. Switch off all heaters. Close the wood-burner.
Leave the house tidy as you found, as we don't charge you for the cleaning. Otherwise cleaning costs will be charged from the bond

The perfect base for our family skiing holiday. Great quiet location but still nice and close to shops. Great communication, and everything was explained well. The drying room was really good for wet snow gear and the fire was kept us warm. Thank you, we hope to stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in this property which was warm and very spacious .The host made it possible to check in earlier than standard 4 pm, in fact Zorana made it possible to check in at 2 pm. The house is family- friendly with a very good fire place and more than enough supply of dried firewood. Nice shower, toilets and stove.It's less than a minute drive from town. My brother with his wife from Australia also enjoyed their stay with me and my wife. I recommend this very nice home for anyone who needs to stay and enjoy your holidays.

Hi Kelly, we are glad that you had good weekend. We didn't wont to take extra money from your bond but we were very disappointment how the house has been left. You found our house clean and tidy when you checked in. As you know we don't charge extra money for the cleaning but we had to pay to our cleaner extra $40 on top we played her. She had to wash one sheet from the single bunk bed that was dirty. You didn't use your own. The fridge wasn't cleaned and wood box wasn't load before you left. We expect from our guests to follow the house rules and respect our effort to make the house clean and comfortable for everybody. You have little kids and that is the reason we didn't wont to take those $40 from your bond.

I cannot say enough good things about the property and the host. We had an amazing time!!! Instructions were really clear, great communication with the host. This is actually the second time we've booked Zorana's house. There is so much thought put into everything. Anything you could possibly need is available. Tons of parking, wood for the fireplace, and a "warm"room to keep all your wet gear in when you return from skiing or boarding, and it's all dry when you're ready to head out again. Access was super easy, and there is flawless Wifi. It's also conveniently located for both Whakapapa and Tūroa. We've done both. Highly Recommended., you will not be disappointed. The family had a great time . . .we'll be returning again soon. Thanks so much Zorana!!!

Great accommodation, clean and tidy with all the amenities that you need and a very homely feel. We are a middle-aged couple but very young in our hearts. Originally coming from Europe where we used to live close to the mountain and ski center. With that background, it is very understandable that we fell in love with New Zealand and Ohakune too. We have called New Zealand our home for the last 32 years. We have a lot of lovely friends and family too. Our two grandsons who are still very young are adorable and made our lives extremely happy. They love Ohakune very much.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property in 2003 to run away from the crowded city.

We always enjoyed our stay in the house and we love Ohakune. At that time we used to go to the mountain and enjoy skiing.

One day we decided to make some changes. We completely renovated the house, making our place very comfortable and even more enjoyable.

For many years we used to come with our friends and family only.

Some years ago we decided to rent our holiday home and share this lovely, stress-free house with people who might be interested to have the same experience.

For us it is important that most people who stayed in the house felt positive energy. That must be the love we have for this house.

It is really STRESS-FREE HOUSE
