Great spec home with a well equipped kitchen. Having double glazing it was a warm home with adequate additional heating. Really appreciate the drying cupboard set up in the garage which really helped after a wet day on the mountain. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

A beautiful quiet and scenic location, with the added bonus of an energy efficient home. Stunning to wake up to views of Ruapehu, and not far to travel to Ohakune for a decent coffee. Fully equipped home with all that is required for a restful stay. The train goes past a couple times a day, but proved more of a novelty than a disturbance. Hope to return one day.

A fantastic, ego-conscious bach, with awesome mountain views. I enjoyed reading the eco-design notes hanging in each room. The living/entertaining areas and bedrooms are all generously sized, and there’s a mountain view from almost every room. The gear-washing facilities in the wet room, and dedicated drying room make it so easy to clean and dry gear after a day out adventuring. And, after an active day, it doesn’t get much better than enjoying a cold glass of wine, while soaking in the outdoor hot tubs and gazing up at Ruapehu looming in the darkness. Overall, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
