About this property

Lake Atiamuri 800m from boat ramp, wakeboard, bike the Waikato trail

Large 1600sqm property, large house +sleepout (optional) +2 cabins (optional) +big deck + SPA pool and Trampoline.

Tesla EV Destination charger on site for guests use, self sufficient solar power and battery storage.

The main house built in 2016 with space and entertaining in mind, with all the bells and whistles, 2 large screen TV's, Internet, SKY TV, Washing Machine and Dishwasher to keep the wife happy, etc; all the while taking in an amazing view of the beautiful scenery. Sleeps 7 including sofa bed.

There is also a self contained sleep out with large bedroom, kitchenette, lounge and its own toilet and basin (shower is outside) and sleeps up to 6 guests; it has a Big 55" TV, Sky. This is included when you have over 7 or more guests

Lastly there are 2 additional cabins which can sleep an additional 6; these are included when you have over 11 guests.

Atiamuri’s at the end of The Waikato River Bike Trail (end of the very scenic Whakamaru section) making it the perfect location for biking enthusiasts. Taupo, Rotorua and Tokoroa are also nearby popular Mountain Biking playgrounds.

We are centrally located between Taupo (37kms, 30mins) and Rotorua (41kms, 30mins) so other activities are just a short drive away eg. Taupo Bungy, Huka falls jet boating, rotorua zorb and luge, etc. There are also various golf courses and walks; or perhaps you'd be interested in a soak at the hotpools at the Wairakei Terraces or De Bretts Hot Pools.

If you're looking for a relaxing time – look no further as the bach is situated with sunning rural views of the mountains, forestry, cattle, and is in a quiet location. Bring your wine, open the bifold doors and take on the sun or stars while keeping an easy eye on the kids in large yard.

Fantastic property for a large family gathering, hot tub separate quarters so adults and kids could have their own space. House was well set out and great indoor / outdoor flow. Plenty of room and very clean. Would definitively recomend and stay again.

Perfection in Atiamuri

Perfect place to get away from the rat race. Very clean, comfortable beds and with all the latest mod cons. Due to ua having 12 women staying, we were a little concerned about there only being one bathroom but one of the biggest surprises was just how good the outside shower was on a chilly winters morning. The spa pool was fantastic, the owner very easy to deal with, and a fabulous place to stay. We will be back!

Family 80th birthday

Recently stayed for mother’s 80th birthday. Beautiful rural setting. Lovely walks down to lake. Children enjoyed the spa and trampoline and sleeping in the sleep outs. Well set up. Would have been even better if the rain had stopped and we could have enjoyed sitting out in the large deck. House was clean and very cosy with heat pumps and log fire.

Beautiful home situated amongst farm lands with wonderful views of the mountains. New home. Very warm and lots of space for large family gatherings. Because there were around 10 adults and two babies it would of been extra awesome if there was a second bathroom but if you don't mind sharing then one bathroom is fine. This house is also very central, only a 20 minute drive to Tokoroa, 30 minute drive to Taupo and another 30 minutes to Rotorua. All in all, it's an awesome home!!!
