About this property
Walk to village AC+Loft+Sauna+HotTub+SHARC Passes+Pet & Kid Friendly
Welcome to our Sunriver house! We are happy to share our home with you, and have outfitted it to a variety of groups, as well as your 4 legged family members. Enjoy the central AC, private bedrooms, hot tub, vintage Viking sauna, 10 SHARC passes and classic Sunriver vibe. Our spacious open concept house is unique in its location, easy short walking or biking distance to the village and SHARC, but quiet and private. We look forward to making our house part of your Sunriver tradition!
The house is set above SR, set among the pine trees and borders greenspace which is rare in Sunriver. You get the convenience of being in the southern end of Sunriver (close to everything) but it is quiet and private. Enjoy watching the wildlife out the back windows and deck.
We have tried to set this up with everything we love from our years of renting houses in Sunriver without losing it's classic SR vibe. For family and group gatherings the main floor is open concept so that nobody misses out on the action. For multi-age groups there is a separate loft where kids can play interactive wii games or watch TV while adults visit below. The house includes 10 passes to the SHARC. They also allow access to the marina, disc golf course, pickleball courts & sled hill (seasonal). This is up to a $270 daily value.
The house has 9 bicycles of various sizes (including a toddler seat and trail-a-bike). We also have a double car garage with a new full size foosball table & a door straight into the mudroom which is great for safely storing ski and summer gear.
Our house is dog friendly, including dog dishes and blankets. Max of 2 dogs and $50 per dog non-refundable fee per stay. For more information and to see our journey since buying the house (it was originally VERY orange) follow us on fb @one mink sunriver
This house has been a successful vacation rental since 2019 with over 75 positive reviews.
Neighborhood description
Our house is a quick walk or bike ride to the Village & SHARC. The bike path that leads to all areas of Sunriver is at the end of the street. Our street is a dead end and there is no traffic to worry about. Park the car during your stay and enjoy our house as a home base to all Sunriver has to offer! Please note the train tracks run in a gulley behind the house. We love to watch the train cars go by and it is no louder than an older dishwasher. Tracks are not visible from the house.
Getting around
Sunriver Resort is accessible through miles of bike trails. Enjoy the river loop, Fort Rock Park and forget the crowded Village Parking lot, it's a quick & easy 10 minute walk away. The SHARC is closer and an easy walk as well, I have done it multiple times with my young nieces and nephews without issue. If you want to explore more of Central Oregon we are happy to give you directions to some of our favorite places.
Policies & rules:
Sunriver Resort has specific strict rules for parking as well as quiet hours. Our expectation is that all guests abide by the rules of the community. Each group can have 4 cars which fit into the driveway.
Extra fee for dogs (no cats) $50 per dog per stay. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture or bedding.
No college or other parties in our house. Our house is set up for multi-family groups.
No smoking includes tobacco products including vape and marijuana products. No smoking includes not just the interior of the house but exterior areas (porch and deck) as well. With high fire danger in Central Oregon no open flames.
Self check-in with lockbox. A unique code will be sent to you prior to arrival.
Please verify that you have completely read through all aspects of the listing prior to booking. Our goal is for our house to be a good match to your group with no surprises.

We grew up coming to Central Oregon and are happy to give you any advice on local places to visit.

Why they chose this property
We grew up coming to Central Oregon to enjoy everything it has to offer. Whether skiing at Bachelor or floating the Deschutes there is so much to do. We purchased this home in 2019 after falling in love with its original features and unique location. We made some updates, but tried to keep its original features for others to enjoy as well. We are hoping to retire to this home, but until then are happy to share it with you!
What makes this property unique
The location of this house is very unique. It is at the end of a dead end street so there is no traffic to worry about. It is set up on a hill which leads to more privacy than most houses have in Sunriver. The house is surrounded on 3 sides by natural area. This lends itself to seeing a variety of wildlife coming through the property. The house is a quick walk from the SHARC as well as the Village which is convenient during the busy season when parking is hard to find.
