Host provided Cocoonr, an agency to facilitate our stay. First time that we had such an experience. Catherine met us on time at the entrance. She presented us with the nuances of the room key…all keys have nuances. She also toured us the room…which makes for a big difference. There was an internet issue, which was promptly resolved with an actual person! Need I say more?

Le Paradoxe "This place is gorgeous and a great location. Easy to walk to some great nearby restaurants and areas, or get to the tram. It looks exactly like the photos, and for me it was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely environment. There isn't a printed guide to anything in the apartment, however, so be prepared for that. The host who met me seemed like he was in a great hurry and could barely be convinced to linger to give me the wifi name and password."

No Shower for 3 out of 4 days - Still No Response from Management

This is the first negative review that I have had to write but feel it is important to make others aware in the future. The unit is OK. Sparse is an understatement. Construction all day probably for a long time into the future practically next door almost an entire block should be a consideration. There is also no pictures for the front door and entryway before you get into the unit. Things are always going to happen unexpectedly. When they do it is reasonable to expect there is someone that will address the problem in a speedy timeframe to minimize the impact on your stay and inconvenience. It has been two weeks and multiple emails and no response from the management. The only contact we receive is a form letter email from the owner of the agency is Bon Jour I am XXXX XXXXX, head of the Cocoonr Bordeaux agency. I would like to contact you to know if you enjoyed your stay at Le Paradoxe. Every day, we do our best to offer quality housing, but reviews from our customers help us to carry on our improvements. Thus, if you enjoyed your stay, I invite you to take a moment to leave a review on HomeAway website. We all tend to say "I'll do it later" but each review is very important for next travelers who could book this accomodation. Conversely, if some things did not match your expectations, please reply to this e-mail to let me know. We will take all your feedbacks into account in order to improve the journey of our next guests. If you read this...........I would still welcome a response to the multiple emails that I have sent. There was also no response when calling the phone number provided.

Le Paradoxe "🙂 L'emplacement en plein centre ville. La rue calme . L'appartement avec de beaux volumes. 🙁 C'était la canicule et il n' y avait aucun climatiseur , seulement un minuscule ventilateur pour tout l'appartement . Il fallait fermer les volets toute la journée pour espérer pouvoir avoir un peu de fraîcheur le soir . Les serviettes de toilette limitées à une grande et une petite serviette par personne pour un séjour de 6 jours ! - Des moustiques dans l'appartement , il a fallu acheter une boule anti moustiques, rien n'étant prévu ."

Le Paradoxe "Très bel appartement dans au cœur du centre de Bordeaux 👍 🙂 La localisation est super, l’appartement avec ses grandes pièces et plafond haut, son petit balcon c’était idéal. 🙁 La cuisine a vraiment besoin d être réorganisé. Tout est éparpillé. Certains item sont en petit nombre, et obligé à démarrer le lave vaisselle inutilement. Pour cette taille d appartement ce serait bien d avoir une laveuse à linge."

Le Paradoxe "This is a beautiful flat in an excellent area. I suspect this is the prime location for staying in Bordeaux. The apartment is open and easy to live in. We were there 6 days and hated to leave. There was construction going on in the hallways of the building so lots of dust. For those coming after us, the entry will be beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Linens and towels were nice. Kitchen well stocked. The fridge is small so don’t bring too much “home” if it needs to stay cold. The shower needs updating. Low water pressure and the rain head needs to be cleaned or replaced as very little water came out of it. We ended up just using the wand which was ok but not really relaxing for me. Even though the apartment is near lots of activity, it is quiet and the bed is in the back so that gives even more sound insulation. We would love to return and will encourage others to try this place out. A real gem in a beautiful city."

Le Paradoxe "Tolle Unterkunft, tolle Stadt – wir waren begeistert ! 🙂 Die Lage ist so zentral, dass man fußläufig Bordeaux erkunden kann. Will man weiter weg hat man Trambahn und Bus direkt um die Ecke. Auch ein Ausflug an die Atlantikküste ist mit der Tram zum Hauptbahnhof und weiter mit dem Zug kein Problem. 🙁 Obwohl man es weiß, dass im Zentrum der Geräuschpegel höher ist, war es mit geöffneten Fenstern nachts nicht möglich zu schlafen. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist der Schallpegel aber erträglich."

Le Paradoxe "Recomiendo totalmente el alojamiento, es perfecto para una pareja, aunque caben 4 personas (hay un sillón cama), a mí me parece más agradable contar con dos ambientes. Es bonito, remodelado, luminoso, con prestaciones simples pero elegantes. Tiene bastante closet y cajoneras. Cuenta con un acogedor desayunador en uno de los balcones, con linda vista. El sector es ideal, todo lo que uno pueda necesitar está cerca. La chica del aseo, Marine, fue responsable y pude contar con ella todas las veces que lo requerí. Tiene un par de daños que deben reparar (cerámica baño principal despegada, tapa suelta del WC principal, lavar alfombra blanca o cambiarla por una nueva, revisar postigo de la ventana del medio, está dañado y no cierra bien). Nada grave, todas soluciones muy simples. Lo único que consideré un inconveniente importante es que no tiene aire acondicionado. Es un departamento al que volveré siempre en otoño/invierno. Gracias Cocoonr Team!"
