The Space:
A historic cottage in a historic city, Launceston Cottage was built in 1880 and its Victorian architecture style has stood the test of time, with stunning original features. Just a short 12 minute walk into Launceston CBD with shops, restaurants and bars to explore, and only an 8 minute drive to the must-see Cataract Gorge.
Beautifully presented from the front with a grey exterior, red coloured door, and green hedges, step inside to a warm, light-filled family home that is tastefully styled.
Three generous sized bedrooms all at the front of the home and each with built-in-robes, the master bedroom has a Queen bed, and bedrooms 2 and 3 have a Double bed and a King Single bed. Each bedroom has an original fireplace that adds stunning decoration to the room.
Large bathroom with a free standing red coloured bath is the centrepiece of the room, and a separate shower. The space is complemented by red and black cabinetry and a double vanity adding a cool and contemporary edge to the historic home.
Large light-filled lounge room and dining area with soft leather couches to melt into, neutral tones, big windows and French doors to let the fresh Tasmanian air flow through. This space is a place to relax and unwind after a day of wandering through Launceston’s treasure trove of restaurants and sights.
Stunning well-appointed kitchen, with sleek black appliances and benchtops as the building blocks to create delicious meals. Outdoors, enjoy sunny alfresco dining on the balcony to savour evening meals or a morning coffee.
Downstairs is a separate powder room and laundry with modern washer and dryer.
