A delightful cottage very well situated and equipped. Our group of five over 60’s ladies loved our short time at Ellie’s and I certainly would stay again when in the area, plus recommend to friends. Thank you to our host.
Hi great location. Brilliant communication with Bronwyn. Loved the home. Thoroughly loved our stay

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
It was uncomfortable because the cleaning was poor and there was no lock inside the door and the bathroom. When it was hot, there was no air conditioning, so it was uncomfortable when sleeping.

Hi Kook
I sent you an email advising that there was reverse cycle air conditioning downstairs
And fans in all Upstairs rooms.
I advised that there we did not put locks on the bathroom Door as we only rent to one group of people at a time who are known to
Each other and we would expect people of the same family group would communicate with each other when using facilities. We also Asked about what cleaning issue you found but you did not respond.
You also did not respond when we asked you for return of the key which you took and which we have now needed to organise replacement.
We would very much appreciate return of our property at your earliest convenience.
Regards
Bronwyn

Ellie's Place is sublime. Charming historical house in an ideal position in Launcestion. Beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. Our family of four were very comfortable with room to spare. I would highly recommend Ellie's Place, we are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Bron.

Attention to detail and customer care by Host Bronwyn made our Christmas 2024 stay at Ellie's Place one that will be remembered by our family for years to come. Our home for the week was spotlessly clean with every amenity on hand and plenty of room. Location was perfect - shopping centre, pub, bakery/coffee, ice-creamery all within easy walking distance. Can't rate this property highly enough for a large family stay. G
Location of property was perfect. A few minor maintenance issues that can be easily fixed. Owner has been notified. These did not detract from our four day stay.
Delightful period property. Comfortable space for 4 adults. Bedrooms upstairs. One bathroom upstairs, one downstairs. Being period stairs narrow and steep.
Perfect location for getting to arts, music, cafes and restaurants.
Four friends had a great time renting this property. It was clean and comfortable and we had a pleasant walk through the park next door and along the esplanade into town for coffee and lunch. We visited the museum and art gallery as well as going to a TSO concert at nearby Woolmers Estate.
Everything was very good. The owners obviously undertake their own maintenance and cleaning of the property as it was to a very high standard. The only thing I would mention is to place a lock on the bathroom doors as we visited with one non-family member child.

Excellent property
This is a great 4 bedroom property for extended families with children who can safely manage steep stairs. Having the park across the road is a real benefit; the monkeys, the Design Centre and the Museum. The cottage is luxurious, comfortable and very well equipped for self caterers. The shopping centre is very close. The Hollybank zip line and bike tracks, 30 minutes away, were a very exciting experience. We had a fabulous time. Thank you.

Ellie's place is a fantastic accommodation, particularly if you're traveling with children, as it is located across the street from a fabulous park. Additionally, the house is equipped with a high chair, port-a-cot, toys, etc. It is a lovely antique house that is spacious and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Bronwyn, the owner, is just lovely and provided great information and tips for things to do during our stay in Tasmania. My only complaint is that the house was a little cold and we had trouble heating the downstairs, but we were quite warm and cozy in our rooms at night. Overall, the location could not have been more ideal, the house was lovely and we were sad that we weren't staying longer.
