We understand people had some concern about the smell of the well water. That was due to the high sulphur level. It is perfectly safe, as per public health testing conducted recently. Nevertheless, we installed the brand new Water Filter System by professional water treatment specialists to remove the smell. We also provide the Britta filter to remove the additional smell for kitchen use. Tips to remove the smell: running the taps after 5 minutes. This problem has been completely resolved. Our guest has been enjoying good quality water during their visits. Moreover, we also have bottled water provided under the coffee maker cabinet for higher quality drinking water.
Vacation in country style in our open-concept beautiful-grand living room, with soft pine wood ceiling/flooring and extra large surround farm view windows.
Sleep in comfort with our freshly cleaned beddings and comfortable beds. Only bring your own slippers(if you tend to use them) and personal care items as we provide clean towels, body wash, shampoo, and hand soap.
The kitchen is stocked with a full set of cooking pans/pots, utensils, microwave, coffee maker(ground coffee), kettle and toaster. The house runs on well water as the surrounding areas, thus we provide a Brita for a more city-like water taste.
The location is conveniently located beside the country road Hwy 12. There will be frequent traffic passing by.
We do have a large outdoor fire pit that you can enjoy with your beloved families and friends during your stay if weather permits.
Please note that if the winds are above 20km/hr on a particular day, or that there is a fire ban due to drought, open fires will be prohibited by our township bylaw for fire safety reasons.
You will have the entire spacious independent first floor suite to yourselves for your pleasant private space.

Host was amazing , cottage was amazing and roomy, ideal for any sized group looking to stay in the area and only a 15 minute drive to mount st louis :).
We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse near Georgian Bay! The home was incredibly spacious, with many comfortable bedrooms and gathering spaces that made it perfect for relaxing and spending time together. Having two bathrooms was also a huge bonus for our group. The property itself was beautiful, with lots of outdoor space to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location was ideal — close to Georgian Bay, shopping, restaurants, and plenty of outdoor activities, while still feeling quiet and relaxing. The farmhouse was very easy to find, and the host was fantastic throughout our stay. Communication was quick, easy, and supportive from start to finish, which made everything feel stress-free and welcoming.Overall, a truly lovely place to stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway!
Big house. Love the open concept kitchen, dining and living room area. Big beautiful windows, letting in tons of natural light. Lots of comfortable beds and two washrooms. Close to amenities. The host let us know about the well water and graciously provided us five large waters. Would book again
We stayed here to compete in Timber Tour at Mount St. Louis . 3 athletes, coach and parent. 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms was ideal and easily could have had more stay with us. Will book next season if we come back for same Timber Tour
Easy to check in house was clean and very comfortable. Problem was no TV, as convertor no where to be found. Host could not solve issue for our stay.

We do have a beautiful big TV, as all our guests can honestly testify. However, there remote control might be missing that day for some reason we do not know. We found it back shortly. Sorry about that.
I stayed with a large group of family and friends for a weekend. The place was nice and spacious—and accurate to the listing. It was a little rundown here and there, but not so much as to be a deal breaker. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped with appliances. We only had issue with the tap water, which smelled like sulphur. Other than that, we had a great time.

Thank you so much for your kind stay. We fixed the water problem by changing the filter. Hope to have the great pleasure of hosting you again!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was great, as described. We were happily surprised by the trampoline in the yard. We were a large group and the house accommodated us very well! The owners were quick to respond to messages. There were also basics in the kitchen like sugar and salt and coffee, which was very helpful. I will mention that the water did have a smell. Though it was safe to drink, we did prefer to drink out of bottled water during our stay. When I reached out to the property owners after the stay, they checked into our concern and said they will be replacing a filter that will hopefully better the issue, and that will make future stays even better. The water was really our only issue. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic. At this price, it is a great deal, and I would recommend it!
We hosted a large family reunion this past weekend at this clean, large, well-equipped farmhouse. The interior offered an open concept large main room with kitchen. It allowed the family to be comfortable all together in one room. Beds were comfortable. The ample property size allowed for outdoor activities, tents and parking. We highly recommend this property for large gatherings where an old farmhouse, clean but not fancy, would be your ideal.Host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you Jason!
