Loved all the artwork inside and out and the screened porch was really pleasant for entertaining. No complaints whatsoever. We've rented other houses with Mermaid over the years and have always been happy with them. There were fresh flowers all over the house, which we really appreciated!

Perfect Petite Palace

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can’t recommend this little house highly enough. It’s very well appointed with nice furniture and great beds. The kitchen has everything you need to start cooking, including spices and good knives. There’s a large DVD and VHS collection with 3 smart TVs. It has a huge screeened porch. Both the owner and Mermaid are very responsive. One drawback: if a washer/dryer is a must then this isn’t the house for you (thank you, arcane Tybee regulations). Overall, it’s a great, relaxing home away from home.

Great Family Getaway

We have a family of 4, our kids are 19 and 6, so we have a difficult time finding things that both enjoy. Tybee has something for everyone. The beach, the aquarium, the dolphin tours, both my kids love those things. They love doing them together. This is our second year in a row at the same location because they love the house. It has room for all of us, but enough space to chill out when needed. It is awesome!!

Loved A Little Salty Cottage

Everything was soooo clean and comfortable. I didn't have any trouble getting in and finding what I needed. I had one question and it was answered promptly. This was my first time staying on Tybee and I would absolutely stay here again!

The Sweetest Tybee Cottage

We arrived to a beautifully and colorfully decorated cottage with the lamps all on and soft music playing. Happy Colors! The screened front porch wraps around to the side. It was large and wonderful. We spent much of our time chilling in the padded chaises listening to the birds and a wind chime high up in the tree. Dappled sunlight filtered through to us and it just seemed magical. The king size bed was so comfortable. The cottage was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. It is well located. A short walk to Chatham crossover for great sunrises and in the evening an even shorter walk to Alley 3 to see the sunset each evening. We easily walked Downtown several times. We stored our bikes under the eaves in the real of the house. It has a large pretty grassy back yard with another sitting area around a large webber grill. The yard is very private thanks to fencing and would be perfect for littles or a pup. The nice concrete drive can hold multiple cars. The kitchen had everything we needed. I fixed a spread with appetizers and wine for friends who live on Tybee and served it on the table on the porch. It was such a perfect place to catch up with friends. If you are lucky enough to score a rental for this cottage...do it you will not be sorry. Too many special touches with owner created art and crafts. The Mermaids are the BEST!

And to top it off, it’s located near the bike path and easy access to beach.

The highlights of or visit was the large screened in porch......the concern from the Mermaid Staff delivering xtra blankets.....& the walk to the ocean took just a few minutes!I am ready to return.....if only Tybee was a little bit closer....kindly move the island closer to Lilburn, Ga.

Anniversary Get Away

This was a wonderful property, quaint and charming in that beachy way. My husband and I were there for six nights with our dog Aly. The cottage itself is completely comfortable and I could live the rest of my life on the porch. It was just fantastic! The managers/owners were always in reach and communication was excellent throughout.

I could ride my bike to the shops or ocean . What a river behind me . I watched sunsets and dolphins playing. I would 100 percent stay again with mermaid cottages. Tammy the lady I booked salty cottage with provided everything she said !!!!! I was very pleased !!!! Thank you again ! It is a great place to write my books !!!!!!
