Anniversary Get Away

This was a wonderful property, quaint and charming in that beachy way. My husband and I were there for six nights with our dog Aly. The cottage itself is completely comfortable and I could live the rest of my life on the porch. It was just fantastic! The managers/owners were always in reach and communication was excellent throughout.

An escape & retreat with family!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was born the year is cozy ( & very cute ) cottage was built! It had everything one would need while being away from home! It was spotless & filled with creative & whimsical original ART! The highlights of or visit was the large screened in porch......the concern from the Mermaid Staff delivering xtra blankets.....& the walk to the ocean took just a few minutes!I am ready to return.....if only Tybee was a little bit closer....kindly move the island closer to Lilburn, Ga.

Lovely House with Amazing Location

We stayed here with our two best friends, and it was the perfect size for four people, and an absolutely incredible location. Short Walking distance to main shops, main pier and fishing pier. House was very clean and communication from the host was excellent. The screened in porch was by far our favorite place to hang out and eat breakfast.

Perfect Vintage Beach Cottage

I’ve been going to Tybee for over 50 years - have lost count of the number of lovely places I’ve stayed. Absolutely fell in LOVE with this little gem! Decor - perfect. Location - fantastic. Literally everything you can need for a home away from home! (Just re-booked for our 35th anniversary in December!) Can’t wait to go back! Thanks to the owner for sharing her lovely home!

Perfect Little Cottage!

My husband and I stayed for the Labor Day weekend and our anniversary. The house was so charming and perfect just like the pictures. The property manager was so sweet and even brought us an anniversary card and little gift. The fresh flowers throughout the house were a nice touch. The porch was a definite favorite for us. We plan to stay again next year!

This was a wonderful bungalow on Tybee Island.

This house was close to the Tybee Creek for shell hunting and crab watching, as well as, only blocks away from the beach. We were able to walk to all areas of interest, including restaurants, with ease. The house was clean and nicely equipped. The screened in porch was wonderful. We would stay here, again.

A little salty cottage

My family of three absolutely enjoyed our stay at a little salty cottage. It had ample room for our family of three. The screened in front porch was awesome! We enjoyed hanging out there in the comfortable loungers provided. Great cottage and great location on Tybee Island. The management company, Mermaid Cottages was awesome to work with.

Relaxation at it's best

We have a 17 yo and a 5 yo, so it is difficult to find things that both enjoy. They bith loved this place! It was big enough that we could be a part, but small enough that we could come together as a family. It is in a great location, we walked everywhere. All of us absolutely loved it!!

The Sweetest Tybee Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A Little Salty cottage was perfect. We arrived to a beautifully and colorfully decorated cottage with the lamps all on and soft music playing. Happy Colors! The screened front porch wraps around to the side. It was large and wonderful. We spent much of our time chilling in the padded chaises listening to the birds and a wind chime high up in the tree. Dappled sunlight filtered through to us and it just seemed magical. The king size bed was so comfortable. The cottage was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. It is well located. A short walk to Chatham crossover for great sunrises and in the evening an even shorter walk to Alley 3 to see the sunset each evening. We easily walked Downtown several times. We stored our bikes under the eaves in the real of the house. It has a large pretty grassy back yard with another sitting area around a large webber grill. The yard is very private thanks to fencing and would be perfect for littles or a pup. The nice concrete drive can hold multiple cars. The kitchen had everything we needed. I fixed a spread with appetizers and wine for friends who live on Tybee and served it on the table on the porch. It was such a perfect place to catch up with friends. If you are lucky enough to score a rental for this cottage...do it you will not be sorry. Too many special touches with owner created art and crafts. The Mermaids are the BEST!
