We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was very clean, communication with the host was excellent (they even texted more than once to make sure that everything was good), and the designated parking space was very convenient! We will definitely stay here again whenever we are back in Savannah!

The bird Baldwin house was absolutely perfect. They did a very good job keeping as much of the history in the building as possible. It was comfortable and perfect for my wife and I’s 15 year wedding anniversary get away in Savannah.

The apartment was very nice. It was immaculate and a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect especially of you enjoy walking. Although we didn’t use it for much other than a quick coffee and a lite breakfast in the morning, the kitchen seemed to be well stocked with whatever you may need. We did not really have much communication with the host because there was not a need. To me, this is a sign that everything was as it should be. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Also, another nice touch were the binders filled with information and some history. The bed was comfortable and the fact that it was a a king is key! I would highly recommend staying at this location and when we are back in Savannah we will definitely look to rebook Romancing the Jones.

The location was close to everything and walkable to almost anything you might want to do. The building from the outside and the street were beautiful. Even though there were multiple apartments, it was quiet. The decor inside was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Internet was slow and network address and password were different from the ones given in the check in email. The apartment was not as clean as other VRBOs that I’ve stayed at, but good enough. It looks like it could use a good Spring cleaning—maybe just because it is a very old building. There are two sets of steep stairs with low railings to navigate, so consider that if you need to.

Overall the place is nice, clean and a good location. The parking was an issue. The neighbors parked in a way that made it very difficult to get into our spot. We contacted the host but they couldn’t do much for us as they don’t own the other spot. The property advertised “access to a pool” when we didn’t see the pool we contacted the host. They informed us the pool is not at the same location. It’s located 30 minutes away on Tybee Island.

Should clarify the amount of stairs to get up there & use a cleaning product with a waaaaaaay less powerful odor. Other than that it’s a beautiful room in a beautiful part of town. Screens in the windows & blinds in the kitchen wouldn’t hurt either.
