Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad the home was a great fit for your family — and your dogs too — and that you enjoyed the easy beach access and everything Sea Pines has to offer. We truly appreciate your recommendation and would love to welcome you back again soon!
Everything was clean when we arrived. There were plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, and trash bags. The kitchen area does look small but the space is used extremely well and feels bigger than it is. Convenient beach access across the street. You will have to purchase a day pass at the gate for 10, but that's less than any hotel parking charge. They provide you with a gate pass that will be on the table when you arrive. The only recommendation I would make is to replace the ceiling fans. All three of them are very noisy and the one on the back bedroom sounds, and looks, like it could fall apart. Other than that, we had a great time during our stay and will be booking again in the future.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad you found the home clean, well stocked, and comfortable, and that the space worked well for you despite the compact kitchen. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the convenient beach access as well. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the ceiling fans and will be sure to pass that along to the owner for review. Thank you again for staying with us — we’re so glad you had a great time and look forward to welcoming you back!
We had a perfect one week stay here. The home has everything you need. It’s very well kept and clean. Short walk to the beach and near every good restaurant. We will be coming back for sure!!

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad you had a perfect stay and look forward to welcoming you back soon!
We like that Night Heron is across the street from the beach and enjoyed taking our Aussie. The place could use some updating and a thorough cleaning. Not a fan of a one bathroom and will specified my next trips.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed the location and that your Aussie could join you for the stay. I do want to note that if you had let us know about any cleaning issues during your visit, we would have happily sent the cleaning crew back right away to make things right. Also, while we manage several other homes in the neighborhood that do have two bathrooms, this particular villa is clearly listed as a one-bathroom property. We appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you back to one of our other Night Heron homes in the future!
Night Heron is always our first choice for a quiet family vacation. This place did not disappoint. We loved spending Thanksgiving here, and we walked to the beach on Thanksgiving day. Couldn't ask for a better holiday.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The bedroom on the left had a terrible mattress. The kitchen was so small. You could barely work in it. The doors going out to the back porch are broken and would not work easily.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you shared your thoughts and will certainly look into the doors to make sure everything is functioning properly. The photos in the listing do show the size and layout of the kitchen so guests can get a clear sense of the space before booking. As for the mattress, we haven’t received prior complaints, but we understand everyone has different preferences when it comes to firmness and comfort. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and will review your comments carefully to ensure the best possible stay for future guests.
I travel with my kitty cat Sweet Annie ! Jim was so helpful in immediately letting me know I can’t let sweet Annie out around the lagoon for safety reasons. Kitty cats and alligators don’t get along . Lol . Property was perfect and Jim had everything laid out and explained to a T. I def will rent it again .

I had a great time here. Its clean and it looks like the pictures. Great location and quiet neighborhood. The cons of this place out way the pros though. It was a pain in my butt to get into this place. They need to leave the pass at the sea pines welcome center and not in the unit. I had to buy a 9 pass to get to my pass in the unit. They even said at the center they need to leave it with them or i had to travel to beach bum office. I had to buy toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. They left 2 rolls of 1ply for a 4day stay with 3 people. Ive never had that happen before. Only one paper towel and the only trash bags were the one in the cans and an extra one for the kitchen. The lights on the back deck didnt work and we couldnt find a light switch even though it states there is a labeled switch. There were no labeled switches for the outside lights. The light in the main room was lacking and when we went to use the one on the desk the light bulb blew so we didnt have that light either. With the way sea pines is set up i did not expect this type of disappointment. I will be back to sea pines but i will probably not be booking with beach bums properties again.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness, location, and quiet neighborhood, but we’d like to clarify a few important points for future guests.
Sea Pines no longer allows rental companies to leave gate passes at the Welcome Center. As clearly noted in the pre-arrival instructions, guests simply need to show proof of their reservation at the gate and they will be admitted without paying. This process is standard across Sea Pines and outside of our control.
Regarding supplies, it is also standard practice for vacation rentals to provide a starter set of paper products intended to tide guests over until a grocery run. This is clearly outlined in our instructions prior to arrival.
As for the lighting concerns, we were never contacted during your stay about difficulty finding switches or light bulbs going out. Had you reached out at the time, we would have addressed those items immediately. Unfortunately, reporting issues only after departure does not allow us the opportunity to resolve them for you in real time.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and wish you the best on future visits to Sea Pines and Hilton Head Island.
