Welcome to Van City! This 2-bedroom basement suite has a private entrance and bathroom, with kitchen and shower for guests. Located just 15 minutes from downtown (depending on traffic and whether driving or public transport) , but also situated perfectly for road trips to: North Vancouver, Sqamish, Whistler and Vancouver island (20 minutes from ferries).
-Basement suite, 3 steps down to the entrance -Bedroom entries are 6 ft -Generally lowest point in living room is 6’4" - As it is an older house, noise travels. So we ask everyone to be respectful of noise. My partner and I live above with our dog.
-We live upstairs with our dog Peach (she is friendly, though too friendly at times. We supervise her outdoors, but please do your part and close the gate when you come and go), so making it a comfort and great stay is important to me. The house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, minutes from coffee shops, and restaurants.

Scott was a great host and available. Very clean, comfy bed and a lovely neighbourhood. Would have been nice to have parking closer. All in all a good experience.
A cozy stay in a quiet neighbourhood, a short walk to E Hastings for lots of food & coffee options. Easy to find parking on side streets and hosts were easy and quick to communicate with. Bonus for the large fenced backyard that we were able to use for our dog.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Its an old home. The walls are thin. We could hear the tv upstairs. It was clean. The microwave didnt really work, took 5 minutes to make a bowl of food lukewarm. The fridge froze my cucumbers so we turned it down from 5 to 3. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had a nice set of knives. I appreciated there were grocery bags under the sink and plastic food containers.

Hey Heather.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll make sure to look into the microwave issue, thanks for letting us know.
What a great experience. Scott was quick to respond to any questions we had and accommodating to a small change in our plans. Check-in was easy and the house had everything you could need. The home is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it for your stay in East Vancouver.
We had a great experience staying at this VRBO! The host was super nice and helpful with any questions that we had. The check in process was quite simple, the suite was very clean, and our bed was comfortable. Our favourite part was how close the property was to downtown. The neighbourhood felt very safe and the tree tunnel above the street was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed our walks around the neighbourhood.
Très bien situé, près du Stanley Park et du Pont suspendu Capilano, puis de la route Sea to Sky. Unité très propre et confortable, même si d’aspect moins moderne. Communications faciles avec le propriétaire.
