Things to be aware of in a rural setting:
Some noise can be heard from Westcoast Rd at times, especially on holiday weekends.
Otherwise enjoy the sound of birds and forest!
Cell phone reception is inconsistent, depending on which provider you have.
Roger’s cell service provider seems to have stronger connection.
Starlink satellite Wi fi is availabe and generally has excellent connection.
However, there may be some interruptions in the Internet connection at times, especially with stormy weather.
There is a back up generator if the power goes out, so you can remain comfortable and warm.
We encourage you to take this opportunity to “disconnect” and enjoy the beautiful area.
Water: as with most properties in this rural area, the water is sourced from our well, which is safe to drink from the taps.
Septic system: toilets flush on a septic tank, and we ask that you do not put any items other than toilet paper in the toilets.
Thank you.
